Dr. Daniel Scott has been my family doctor for over twenty years- since I was a teenager. He and his staff have always shown professionalism, discretion, and respect. He has gone above and beyond in every situation my family has been in with him. His retirement is a huge loss for the community. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Scott has been my doctor for 40 years, since I was a little girl, as well as my children's. He has never been inappropriate and always very helpful. I was very upset to hear of him retiring soon.

When I had Dr. Scott as a young teenager (while Dr. West was unavailable) He was completely inappropriate when during a pap exam. I was uncomfortable with him to begin with, so brought a friend. He asked her if she would like to “take a look down there”. Disgusting. Before that he prescribed me multiple addictive medications without having any proper evaluation or diagnosis. Told me they’d help me feel better. Such as stimulants, benzodiazepines, gabapentin and sleeping pills. I was very young and trusted him, which was a mistake, those medications caused me more harm than good. I should have been referred to a psychiatrist for depression. I was very happy to go back to Dr. West when he returned. Do your research on the medications he prescribes, he would rather give people pills than help them get to the root cause of issues or send them to specialists.

huge list of issues with him, up to and including breaching dr/patient confidentiality. He now has a lawsuit on the way. Won't even renew prescriptions for an inhaler for me anymore; i confirmed multiple times with the pharmacy that the request was sent, and have sent another request. He tried to put me back on a medication that i had severe side effects from, and wiped his hands clean of me when i refused. There is no medication for mental health that is worth sacrificing your physical health for. He prescribed me downer medications for YEARS, even after i was diagnosed with ADHD. His opinion of me, which he gathered through breaching dr/patient confidentiality, has put my physical and mental health at risk and has had severe detrimental influence on the treatment i receive from other doctors. I had to argue with him for almost a year before he sent me in for a CT scan for a concerning lump that had been growing. He read the report, said yup there's something there, then did not let me read it and sent me for a follow up with an ENT doctor's office. That appointment consisted of the ENT doc printing out a copy of the report for me which stated VERY CLEARLY that there was nothing in the scan. He DOES NOT LISTEN. His staff is amazing, he is terrible. His staff deserve to work for a better doctor, and Dr Scott should do everyone a favor and retire before he is the cause of any more harm to his patients. I have no idea how this man managed to graduate high school, let alone medical school.

I've been going to Dr. Scott most of my life, and especially in the last few years, he is absolutely the worst thing you can do for your health. Avoid him like the plague (which he would not be able to diagnose) As soon as you get into his office, he starts to push you out He doesn't listen to you, and the only thing he is good for is drugs and referrals. If you don't know what's wrong with you, you never will with him. I hope he retires soon so I can finally feel good about healthcare.

Been my Dr. for 40 years. Always makes time to listen and will make sure I receive the treatment for what ever my condition requires. Always there when I needed him.

Unfortunately does not always take time to listen to patient and many times feel does not want input from patient too rushed and think not being properly cared for think should retire as patient not getting care and assurance we all need for our health
