Dr. Kolczun has performed 3 surgeries on me. Two on my knee, and one shoulder. Always with success. I have gone to him since single and in my 20's. Now(..52)have daughter in H.S developed knee /leg problem in CC.Local ortho wanted to do surgery on her two years ago. Said torn meniscus. Dr. Kolczun disagreed-said tendonitis. Suggested she take yr. off to rest/recover. She is fine now, with no trauma(or expense$$) of surgery.I will say you may wait at office visits. He is very busy. What's that tell you?

Dr. Kolczun did ACL surgery on my knee seven months ago. His graft placement and positioning was wrong, and I incurred more knee trauma than is normally associated with ACL surgery. A month ago, i had to get a second surgery in which a different doctor had to remove 30% of my graft because it rubbed against my bone and widen the notch in which the graft sits. In addition, a protruding screw had to be shaved down. I do not reccomend this doctor, his bedside manners are sub-par, and his poor surgery has caused me 8 months of unrelieved pain/inactivity/discomfort and frustration.
