Doctor Phillips is a nice person and gets the job done. However, his staff are some of the most rude women I have ever delt with in an office. I will not go back to this office because of the staff.

Dr. Phillips is "REAL". Down to earth. I like that in the person that I need to trust to help me with my health.

My experience was very unpleasant. We are a military family and use tricare. A military ID is what is used as a proof of insurance. My husband misplaced his wallet. Knowing this, I called ahead of time the day of the appointment and asked if they could see him with no ID as he is deploying in two weeks and an appointment is necessary. The receptionist originally told me as long as he had his insurance card it would be fine. I then explained that he didn't have one issued and they told me I was wrong. Eventually after some checking they said they would accept him with no ID. After driving an hour to the appointment they told him with no ID he would need to pay $98 upfront. Since he had no ID or Bank card that was not possible. His staff was consistently rude in previous calls. I have nothing against Dr. Phillips himself but he has horrible staff! and the third time I called today Shauna answered the phone. So she does still work there!

I find it kind of funny that most of the bad comments are from patients that are on medicaid. I myself work for a Dr. and from my experience they are the ones that are rude, maybe at this Dr. they just dont put up with it. I myself have had NO ISSUES. Also Becca and April havent worked there in quite some time. Also as stated on someone elses comments the pool area to draw from employees in a town this size is very limited so hes probably doing the best he can with what the town has to offer! I love him and the staff and wouldnt dream of changing and I recommend him to everyone who asks!

He is a good Dr for surgeries but other then that I wouldn't recommend him unless your doing it for the diet program because that is about the only thing that seems to get time spent on. It's almost as if the Dr walks in about the same time he walks out. It's like pulling teeth to get him to stay long enough to tell him everything that is going on with you. As for the other posts about HIPPA laws it is very true. You can hear the office staff making fun of and disrespecting clients and they will even do it to you as if it is no big deal. The discuss openly in front of other patients what the problem someone is having is and personal details. So for Surgery it is a good place to go but otherwise it is not!

Becca, Shawna are so rude... They have a sign in their window that say's they are always right and the customer is wrong. The dr. didn't even tell me my results and told me to ask the rude office staff about it. I asked them and stupid Becca was like Duhhhh, your fine even though the paperwork said otherwise. The doctor wrote prescriptions I had no clue about till I went to pick up another prescription 2 months later and I was surprised with Cholesterol and thyroid medicine. Wow, can I say more. They also messed up on my insurance and were trying to charge me the insurance. I asked Shawna if she would call the company because they told me to have her call them. She said rudely "I will not"!!! So rude... Needless to say I changed dr.s immediately after that situation and my insurance company told me I could change doctors immediately because of this. I hope they were told on.

Dr. Phillips is a surgeon and sometimes gets called out for surgeries so he can be late some but I have always been called back in a timely manner. He also has a wonderful weight loss program which me and several friends have benefited from greatly and hes not just doing it for the money because if you dont need the loss but think you do he will not let you follow the program. He has several new staff members which are extremely nice and helpful, which is probably hard to do in a town of the size of Vinita. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and in fact I have!!!!!!!

The office staff are horrilble including the AKA Nurses which don't have their licence they seem to be know it alls. They are very rude to people. I only go to the Dr. due to actually reallly liking him as he is a good Dr. Seems though since this diet thing has came out he's shorter with patients. Becca, Shawnna, Shellie, April are all rude disrespectful Bs. Talk about HIPPA laws if you want your buisness talked about there is the place to go! They mock patients and alway have a frown on faces. Shawnna OMG she is a major turn off and thinks she's all that! When I can I'm changing Dr. If he would get rid of the staff he has I think he would do much better.
