Very thorough. Appointment was for myself and I was with my daughter and she even pointed out some small eczema my daughter has. I definitely recommend Dr. Karen Stolman.

I had warts that had been frozen, unsuccessfuly, multiple times. She treated me with three different topical applications. Within 2 months all were gone without scaring!

She does not listen: I tried to give more details about my condition but she kept "reciting" lists of facts, many of them unrelated on not applicable to my case or questions. She did not answer my questions and also gave me some inaccurate information.

I saw Dr. Stolman at the IHC facility she worked at before going to the Gateway Laser Center. She totally botched several surgeries on a common wart and made my condition worse. Her bedside manner was rude and none of her therapies worked for my or my daughter's skin conditions, which was a total surprise considering her "qualifications." The biopsy she did on a small, inflammed patch of skin left a large, permanent, ugly scar, yet the inflammation never returned, and her lab results determined it was a reaction to a drug SHE prescribed in the first place. More malpractice. Thank goodness she is working in a medical aesthetics office now with plastic surgery options. Her patients will need them.

I am 47 and my hair starting thinning in my 20’s. I had been thinking about a hair transplant for at least five years, and I finally went ahead with the NeoGraft Hair Transplant with Dr. Stolman. Dr. Stolman was great, has a sharp eye, and explains everything so well and better than my previous hair transplant consults. She planned my hairline perfectly . Carly and Laura, the hair transplant technicians, are truly talented. They did a great job. I am on Propecia now as Dr. Stolman recommended, and doing fine.

I went on 2/23/13. 1 1/2 years ago Dr. Stolman performed surgery on a basal cell cancer that was on my neck just below the ear. She found another basal cell on the same side of my neck and near the throat. She could have performed surgery on the new cancer; however, she put her patient's life first. Since both were on the same side and not too far from each other, she opted to send me to a Mohs Surgeon, Jason Hansen. Mohs is a procedure where they remove the cancer and test it in their lab. If it shows positive, they keep testing until it shows negative. This shows Dr. Stolman has her patient's care as her No. 1 concern. She has done 100's of these surgeries, but she didn't want to take a chance that there would be more cancer. How many Dr.'s would do this? No one could be more thorough. Her PA, Jamie Baker, is also great. She cured an intense itch between the thumb and forefinger on both hands on 6/3/13. One had a red bump. She prescribed a cream that removed the itch in 1 1/2 days.

This was no thoroughly performed check up Very superficial look at moles (not whole body) Did not bother to come up w/ own diagnosis of current chronic condition but relied solely on old diagnosis from previous doc so I have no idea if today I'm doing better or worse since visit w/ other physician Hurried bedside manners w/ very condescending tone, bordering on mocking type of comments when briefly and curtly communicating w/ patient - worst part of all, while I do know my condition is caused by external agents that influence my behavior (from the outside to the inside), I was told there's obviously something wrong w/ my psyche that is reflected on my skin condition (from the inside to the outside) In conclusion: I needed a skin check up (didn't happen) I've got a simplistic and above all uncalled for mental health diagnosis instead Very unpleasant experience w/ very unprofessional physician

I was not impressed with this doctor whats so ever. when I went for the follow up I was 6 minutes late due to traffic and asked if they would like me to reschedule, the office staff told me not to worry. After waiting 15 minutes before i got back to the room I was told they would not be able to proceed with the full procedure due to limited time so I asked to reschedule so I wouldn't have to do it twice. This doctor proceeded to inform me how valuable her time was and she could have seen other patients. I am a professional business person, I am certainly aware of how to treat paying customers and this was not it, she is more worried about the money coming in the door rather than the patients she is treating. If you want an experience where the doctors cares about you and not the money you are bringing in the door this doctor is not for you. She may have all the credentials in the world but she does NOT know how to treat people. Her time is way more important than yours!
