We took our, then 15 year old daughter to her after a Traumatic Brain Injury. Her demeanor was horrible, I was physically ill after we went for a visit because of the things she said to us. Our family had been through a tremendous ordeal. The last thing we needed was someone being negative. We needed kindness and understanding instead of a blank stare and harsh
words! We will NEVER see her again, nor will we recommend her!

Pam Thompson
in the last week
She was neuro used for my 10mo old granddaughter when we recently brought her to Cristus Trinity Mother Francis Hospital. My sil had just gotten custody of the baby after being badly neglected and CPS involved, finding she had severe seizers and developmentally delayed. For Dr Baker to tell this young dad and myself that the baby would never get better, never walk, talk, function in society, etc., all after 1 day DX, unless she's GOD, she can't! She has the bedside manner of a wet goat. Acts like we are bothering her by asking questions. Never looks you in the eyes!
If anyone needs a pedi neuro for a very young child, don't stop, go straight to Children's Hospital/Dallas to the incredible neuro department there! They actually care, work hard for the child and never act rushed or that any question is a waste of time!
Dr Baker..... You're FIRED!

I credit my son having a near fatal status epilepticus to her not caring. She did no tests at all and left seizure medicine prescribing to our pediatrician. Go to Dr. Yuliya Snyder in Shreveport. She's smart, nice, caring, and my son has been seizure free since she changed his medication.

This doc was assigned to my mother when she was in the hospital. My mother almost died. She was having jerking movements which came from the neurotoxicity of the antibiotic through her picc line. This doctor told us that it was self induced. SELF INDUCED! My mother couldn't keep liquids in her mouth long enough to swallow and this was SELF INDUCED? This doctor was wayyyy off and wayyyy wrong. No compassion, no smile, no personalable skills. Worst neurologist I've ever come across. Switched doctors, don't waste your time.

Dr. Baker has no care for her patients or the parents. I have NEVER met a doctor as rude & demeaning. Do not bother asking questions because she becomes very offensive upset for asking. After my daughter's seizures worsened and had to be rushed to ER. When I called Dr. Baker, was extremely hateful & accused me of not giving my daughter medication. Excuse me I am her mother and I do not like the fact that my daughter goes through this and I certainly don't like that this doctor refused to do anything but blame me. Her comment was "Well what do you want me to do about it?". I want to care, stop being so rude and hateful inherit compassion. I would rather drive across country to another neurologist so my daughter receives proper treatment from one who cares and willing to make sure that the patient is well and the parents are well informed. Dr. Baker I pray that you find your heart and compassion and remember the true reason of becoming a doctor is to help others.

TERRIBLE! What an awful experience. My minor son has suffered from horrible migraines for 7 years. After filling out several pages of info, waiting 35 minutes in the room, she walks in and says what is the problem? I should have walked out then. Dr. Baker was quite honestly rude and very hard to understand. I am not a Dr. so when she rattles off medications, I was completely lost. My son even said he was afraid to ask her a question. She did not smile once and made us feel like we were wasting her time for she was in such a big hurry. When I did ask a question, she abruptly said " I will get to that"....and never did. What a waste of time and $. The craziest part was when I guess she thought the office visit was over she just walked out of the room, not a word, we just sat there stunned. I will NEVER go there again and would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr.Baker was not nice at all. She was very uncaring and on the verge of being rude to us. She acted like we were wasting her time. If I was confused when I went to her office about my under 2yr old toddler I was utterly confused when we left! Not my idea of a compassionate Dr. I would honestly drive to another state before going back to her convienient location in Tyler!
