I knew Dr.Parekhji since when I was first pregnant which was 26 years ago, she's very professional, warm and helpful, if I don't like her that much, I probably won't stay with her for such a long period of time. I highly recommend her to anyone who need a knowledgeable female gynecologist.

Dr. P has been my OBGYN since 1984. She has always been incredibly thorough, straight forward and caring. My questions and concerns have always been treated with respect and sound medical advice. Dr. P has seen me through three pregnancies as well as other procedures and she has proved many times over why I have such confidence in her abilities.

I was shocked to see the bad reviews on this site. It seems like they were some time ago but still I was surprised as my experiences have been all good. I have been seeing Dr. P for many many years... 10+ and have not had any bad experiences. She is a straight talker and direct but has always taken the time to explain things.. even drawing little pictures. I have had a few health issues over the years and she has always been promt in responding to my needs. I have always felt well taken care of, in fact, see was overly thorough. I have never had an issue with the staff, billing, or waiting too long. If I had seen these reviews I may not have gone to see her and missed out on seeing an excellent doctor.

Dr. Parkehji is a highly skilled physician and surgeon with uncompromising standards. She demands the best from herself as well as other health care professionals involved in her patients’ care. I have been her patient since shortly after she opened her practice in San Jose. Since then she has delivered my son and performed two surgeries, one only a few days after she’d suffered a back injury but insisted on operating. Medicine is still a chauvinistic field and because of her gender, ethnicity, and diminutive size, Dr. Parekhji has had to work very hard for her voice to be heard, especially in the late 70s when the population of South Asians in the Bay Area was much smaller. Today she is well-respected by the medical community and loved by her patients.

Dr. Parekhji delivered both of my boys and has been my Dr. for almost 10 yrs. I have always been very pleased with her care and attention to detail. While in the hospital after my first son born another physician who was checking on me complimented Dr. Parekhji's surgical skills and remarked that the C-section incision was "beautifully done". It was an urgent C-section due to my son showing distress during the birth (Dr. P had a device attached to him to accurately monitor his vitals.) The surgery went quickly and smoothly however and my son was fine. I would recommend Dr. Parekhji. She is forthright and will not compromise a patients or baby's care. I have also been very pleased with all the staff in the office. They are very helpful.

I have been seeing Dr Parekhji for 7 years now for all my gynecology needs and this past February see delivered my first child, a baby girl. I would highly recommend Dr Parekhji, she and her staff are always so friendly. She is very knowledgeable and I trust her. I have never had a bad experience with her or her staff.

I have had Dr. Parekhji as my OBGYN for over 20 years. She's knowledgeable on any/all issues I have had. She is genuine in her concern for my health and answers my questions with truth and professionalism. I have no problem talking to her on any issues and consider her a confidant as well as my doctor. I highly recommend Dr. P for anyone woman needing an OBGYN!!!

I have seen Dr. Parekhji for about 20 years now. She delivered my daughter and is now seeing my daughter as a patient. I can honestly say that Dr. P. is the best doctor I have ever had. She goes above and beyond to see that her patients receive the best of care. I had a difficult pregnancy and delivery and through it all my daughter and I were always her priority-even as she was taking exams for law school. Through the past 20 years my life has changed dramatically and Dr. P was there to help through one of the most difficult times in my life. I cannot recommend her enough. The office staff has also been very helpful and was attentive to all my needs through a recent major surgery. If you're looking for a Doctor she is the one!

I found this doctor to be an experienced and skilled surgeon. She got me through a complicated hysterectomy with no problems. She actually specializes in difficult cases for pregnancy and other issues. Now having been a surgical patient with surprise complications, that she handled with no problem, I believe all of her claims. I highly recommend her.

I have been a client for the past 30yrs. I have always found Dr. P. and her staff to be very professional, caring, and happy. She is definitely a take-charge doctor, always with her patient in mind. She delivered both my kids and I trusted her completely including recommendations to induce both children early. She runs a very busy office and routine exams can be delayed or cancelled due to priority OB situations. She typically has a Nurse Practitioner on staff to handle rountine Gyn exams, which I often do, unless you insist on seeing Dr. P. Sometimes there are long waits in the waiting room or exam room, but once it's your turn, Dr. P. does not rush you, takes her time in explaining any issues, asks questions, etc. I have recommended her to friends and will be taking my now 18-yr old daughter to see her.
