Do not walk, run from this office if you are going for Gyno issues. To say it was sketchy is an understatement. I showed up with my mother and they weren't expecting us, indicating they had no appts that day but "could squeeze us in". The receptionist was not the greatest impression but the person we saw 2nd was an even worse impression. It is so confusing there as this Dr. also promotes as a Dr. who provided Aviation Medical examinations, the facility is also a Medical Spa & Lasar Hair treatment facility. When I started inquiring what the Dr. does most, pilot exams, hair removal or Urogyno stuff the "nurse" became very reactive & not in a good way. She indicated Dr. Spurlock no longer does surgery and hadn't for some time. When I asked why & for how long, her reply I would NEED to ask him. After a few other really off the wall & bizarre exchanges I stood up and indicated we were done here and dragged my elderly mother out of this insanely unprofessional atmosphere. I think when we walked in the Dr. was behind reception desk in sweats and ran into the other room. Just the type of atmosphere that makes the hair back of your neck stand up, not in a good way. They may be great at lazar hair removal but do NOT go her for urinary matters, waste of an entire afternoon. So glad we left after coming home and googling this guy.
Before we even walked from the front desk the women was commenting he can do procedures here today...ah what procedure, we haven't even spoken to the guy.

Went to Dr. Spurlock due to pelvic organ prolapse. Talked over treatment options on first visit, but he stated that first should be tested for interstitial cystitis. Set up testing for second visit. On third visit was informed that I had IC and started installations for it (Billing over a thousand dollars for medication and performing the installation). Returned for two other visits for the installations. He charged my insurance company for treatments on the first two visits. When I asked for my medical records, given the on-line portal. Incorrect information was put into chart which made it appear I had IC even though I had no symptoms. I asked that they submit a corrected claim to insurance, they said they did those treatments on the first two visits. I would not have had treatments prior to diagnosis or on a day of testing. I have gone to other urogynocologist who confirmed that I don't have IC. I highly recommend going to another doctor.

Terrible operation they are running over there. Waited in the waiting room for 45 min while nobody was at the front desk. Very unhelpful and uninformed staff. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

Dr. Spurlock is a wonderful doctor. I'd been struggling with incontinence for years but after one surgery he'd fixed my problems. I'd recommend him to anyone!

I had been suffering with bladder problems for years. Dr. Spurlock was the first doctor to actually listen to me and continue to work with me until we identified the problem and solved it. I now live pain free and no longer have problems with bladder control. I am so thankful for Dr. Spurlock.

Dr. Spurlock diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis after 2 visits, one being a diagnostic test(one that is not recognized as an effective tool for diagnosing IC). He diagnosed me with IC, gave me a script for Elmiron, a copy of the IC diet and sent me on my way. After much research of my own, I found that I was not truly displaying many of the symptoms of this disease. I stopped taking the meds after they made me very sick to my stomach. He seemed irritated that I stopped the meds and said the only other option was to do bladder instillations. I declined as I was still not convinced I had this problem. I went back to my obgyn and she found that I had a UTI (Dr. Spurlock never checked my urine). I then decided to seek out a second opinion elsewhere. After a very thorough exam and close review of my symptoms, the second urogyn said I do not display the symptoms of IC. She seemed shocked by Dr. Spurlock's notes-which falsely stated that I have fibromyalgia and endometriosis.
