I went to see Dr. Provence after having an endoscopy with another doctor in the practice, my stomach was in such rough shape that there had been seven biopsies performed, I had an ulcer and a hietal hernia. I had never had stomach issues before my pregnancy, but during my pregnancy with my second son, I was very sick, and everything made me vomit. No doctor could diagnose the cause of my illness during my pregnancy. It turns out I have Lupus and a gluten issue, I was regularly eating wheat and other grains, to try to be healthy, my son also has a gluten issue so I was basically making us both sick. I had two previous miscarriages and had almost lost this baby twice, so I was unwilling to take any anti -nausea or other meds during my pregnancy. It seemed too risky. All Dr. Provence did was suggest I lose weight. He refused to hear that I didn't have any issues prior to being pregnant. Or, that my baby was only five weeks old. I was trying to lose weight, but I still didn't feel 100% yet back to normal yet, being sick 5 to 6 times a day for nine months is rough on a body!!! Not to mention, that I am 5'9 and at the time weighed 176 lbs, which is maybe at most 40 lbs overweight. He said that if I wasn't overweight, I most likely would not have a problem. At that point I told him that my money through insurance and co-pays was employing him -so he worked for me, and he didn't even make it past his initial interview. I got up, left and never went back. I also didnt pay for the office visit and requested that my insurance company also withheld payment.

Doesn't listen to your concerns, not very helpful. Didn't really seem to listen to me. I went there for tests for celiac disease and IBS, I ended up leaving and going to another doctor, the next week. Who ordered a colonoscopy and bloodwork. The new dr was much more helpful and friendly. Dr Provance is not friendly/nice at all. The new dr found out I was lactose intolerant and had some issues that dr provance said I didn't have, he said nothing was wrong and sent me on my way.
