She is horrible. I had my 1st child @ 16. I didn't know much. She was mean & not caring @ all.I gave birth in 1994, I was in labor 21 hrs. I dilated 3 cms @ 19 hrs & @ 21 hrs I was @ 5 cms. I was given pain meds in the beginning & after was told I couldn't have anymore. My water never broke. She never offered me a epidural or anything. She came in @ 21 hrs & said here are the C-section papers, sign them. I told her I didn't want to have a C-section. She said I can sign them or if I didn't, she was going home & I can call her when I'm ready to deliver. Not knowing any better & being in extreme pain, I signed them. The 2nd child, I was 19 y/o & told her I wanted a natural birth. She said ok. I had a bad tooth ache & was pass my due date. She told me she would induce my labor. I went to the hospital @ noon and was given the meds. She said if I didn't dilate enough by 7am, we will proceed C-section. I 2nd C-sections. Now that I'm older & know more. I feel that other she could have tried other things to prevent the C-sections.

Everything the previous patients said is true. She is by far the worst OB/GYN I have ever met. She is ABSOLUTELY insensitive, does not want to be there, and makes you pee into a plastic disposable drinking cup (that is not sanitary!). On top of that, she does not like answering your questions. There were no patients in her office when I got there and she was an hour to closing. I looked at the list and she had only one patient in before me. I feel bad for the staff member who works there-- she is nice. However, the doctor is awful!

I went to doctor Lin unfortunately without checking this website first. Well, that will be the first and last time I go to the most cold, unfriendly and insensitive doctor I have ever met. Maybe she should be taking care of animals and not humans, even though, I would not even take my dog to her. I was a new patient and was never greeted with a smile or a handshake. Rather I was put down and made me feel stupid for having put down the wrong date on my last pap smear. Told me to make up my mind on which referral I wanted first because I didn't have good insurance. I felt so unwelcome and left there crying because she was so insensitive to my problems and condition. I came out of there truly traumatized by this strange woman. All the comments are all true!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!

So I was infected by certain virus, but the way she announced it is like a judge sentencing a criminal! When I asked what the ratio is for common people got the same problem, she said "Don't ask me, your test is positive means it is a 100% for you" The way she said it is lifetime problem just scares me to hell, yet the truth is 60-70% females carry this virus in certain time and if your immune system is strong enough it will disappear later on in your life. I felt being discriminated due to my illness and a repeating "I don't know" is not an answer from a qualified doctor. If you have other choice, just don't go to her!!!!!

Although it was my mistake to go to this doctor more than once, I have since learned my lesson. There was always a wait. Dr. Lin is hard to understand and and is not gentle. I went in for a yearly check up in February last year, and in September I was sent a bill for tests that I was never told were being taken, and was never given results for. It is almost a year later, and I am still trying to get an answer about this bill. The office has gone back and forth about reasons for the test... from "the doctor was concerned about something" (ok...then why didn't she tell me during the visit?)... to "it's part of the preventative visit" (ok.. so then why am I being charged for it?) I wish I would have thought to check ratings on this Dr. before my visits. Please, do not go to this doctor. She needs to realize that this is a problem.

Very unfriendly and cold. Was not very gentle and did not explain anything as she was doing the procedure. Upon finding out something was wrong, she was very critical and demeaning. When I tried to ask her more questions about my condition, she belittled me and said that I am asking the same questions and that I should go home and take time to understand then ask. As a patient, I believe it is the doctor's job to explain your disease and not make the patient feel stupid for asking questions due to their lack of medical knowledge. The outside appearance of the clinic was also horrible. It was dingy and unkempt. The facilities inside was just as bad. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!!!!!

I had a handful of visits with Dr. Lin last year and finally had to switch doctors because I couldn't take her attitude and lack of respect anymore. She was very unfriendly from the start. Wouldn't even say a simple greeting hello, rushed through the visit. Seems to me like she hated what she does and it was a burden to examine me. Her attitude and comments made me feel so dumb and looked down on each and everytime. When she does her procedures on you, she does not stop and explain what step she is on or why. It was such a horrible and uncomfortable experience with Dr. Cecilia Lin that I would never recommend her to anyone, not even to strangers let alone my friends. I wish I had found this site and read the other comments about her before deciding to go to her. The comments are all true! Please think twice before seeing her. It's unforunate that there are docs like her out in this world. Makes you wonder why she became a doc in the first place.
