HORRIBLE DOCTOR!! Incompetent, horrible bedside manor...you will not heal from surgery with him. He will not try to find out why or research it himself. Should have his license revoked.

I had numerous surgeries with Dr. Meyer-both knee and trigger fingers. The last trigger finger surgery he did was done improperly-the tendon was not released and I had to have a repeat surgery 6 months later (with a different surgeon)which specifically stated in the surgical report that the release was not done in the prior surgery. This is a relatively simple procedure. All Dr. Meyer could say was he was sorry, and I was welcome back in his office anytime. I sent letters to the hospital and to NYS and neither did anything about this matter. I don't know what happened this last time but I would definately not recommend him anymore.

In December of 2003 Dr Meyer operated on my then 15 year old daughter to correct a patella tracking issue. My daughter started getting some relief in the pain she was experiencing, a few weeks later the pain began all over this time iy was different. This pain was a burning, stabbing, constant pain and it was accompanied by a change in the texture and color of her skin and the growth of both the hair and toe nails. It turned out something went wrong during surgery and Tiffany wound up with RSD, a terrible neurological pain disorder with no cure. So, it's 11 years left and Tiffany is still suffering . We went to a lawyer but since you can get RSD several ways they could not pinpoint the exact way she got It,even though before the surgery she only had the patella problem and after she still had that problem plus now the RSD. The lawyers did, however, tell us that Dr Meyer had at least 5 cases against him all of which were settled out of court.
