Probably the best GP I have ever had. He is not very punctual but that is usually because he is spending time with his patients. He is patient, has a good bedside manner and, most importantly, takes the time to assess patient issues and explain his diagnosis and treatment approach. Highly recommended

He may have changed. But 10 years ago he told me that a problem i had was all in my head. When i finally found a real doctor who cared. Turns out i have lumps in my colon. 2 years now i have been to 3 dr's and specialists. 4 Colonoscopy and one endoscopy. I am on the road to better health. To bad he did not believe me back then and help me out. Also he did not believe me about back pain after car accident which really messed me over with ICBC. Again years later with a NP Chiropractor RMT and new GP i am 90% pain free and off pain killers. May be nice guy. But to bad he never listened to me. I was at rock bottom and he did not care. And his receptionist ( yrs ago) was grumpy and mean sometimes. I hope things have changed. Just remember don't give up. I did for years and lived in pain and was depressed. Now i am on road to recovery. Pretty big Oops missing a couple lumps in the colon. Wouldn't you say. Even if it was in " all my head" why did he never talk to me or try to help me?

I love my doctor! He's compassionate, genuine and an empathetic ear. The wait in his office to see him is long and sometimes he rushes in late, but when you see him, it seems like he's got all the time you need. Even when he's on rounds at the hospital and he's on his way to the office and he sees you, he stops and asks how things are. He's genuinely concerned about our family. He's there right at your side, even hold your hand, when the going is rough. If he doesn't know the answer he'll find one. When you need attention in a hurry he'll give it and/or arrange for you to get it. He's the best in our opinion. My family wouldn't trade him or Dr. York for any other.

Pierre Ducharme saved my sons life. My son went to the emergency room, while he was on a two month waiting list for an MRI to check out a tumor near his heart, because he couldn't stop coughing. Dr. Ducharme was the doctor on call thank God. He kept my son in the hospital and insisted with the powers that be that a MRI be done on him the next morning. He then made arrangements for my son to go to Kamloops for a biopsy. My son had non-Hodgkins Lymphoma that needed immediate treatment and thanks to this doctor he recieved it. My son would almost certainly have died if the treatment had started two months later. It is over six years now and my son is married with a baby and cancer free. Thank you Dr. Ducharme.

Dr. Ducharme is an excellent aesthetic dentist who made me feel comfortable. I had one crowned front tooth that had bothered me for years as the colour was not perfect and the top part of my tooth (near the gums) was dark. Thankfully, I went to Dr. Ducharme. He was able to fix my tooth and make my smile perfect without having to veneer surrounding teeth. I would recommend this dentist to anyone who wants quality work.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ducharme for 25 years. I find him to be a very knowledgeble,caring and thorough physician. The wait in his office does get to me sometimes,but,I am willing to put up with it as the care,compassion and treatment are worth it.

Dr Ducharme delivered my two children and is very helpful. He gives the extra mile and never treats you below himself. If you bring in an article he reads it and says when he does not know something. Great doctor
