Dr. Curtis was at the Logan Lake Health Centre and clearly did not want to be there. The first thing he said to me was 'I don't have much time' And this call was to send a prescription to a pharmacy in Kamloops for me. So he is short , brusque, and then I find he sends my Rx to a Pharmacy in Kelowna. Just a lame docotor with attitude. I think he should go home to Courteney.

I have been seeing Dr. Curtis for about 2 years now. He is very professional and at the same time has a kind and friendly manner. He takes the time to listen and - besides his world of knowledge - he will do research if he is not familiar with or does not know how to treat a medical condition (physical and mental). I feel very much at ease with Dr. Curtis and would recommend him to anyone who is seeking a new Physician. I drive almost an hour to visit Sea Star clinic and the trip is worth it.

I'm a new patient of his in Comox. It's not a long wait for appointment, bit of a wait in the waiting room but at least I knew I wouldn't be rushed out when it was my turn. His office assistant is helpful and personable. I find Dr. Curtis compassionate, he knows his stuff, and he listens. I did not find him disrespectful and I am sensitive about stuff like that. I have physical and mental health issues that have made it nearly impossible to function in a "normal" way and I cannot stand rude or unkind people. If he'd been unprofessional, I'd be the first one on here saying so. I became his patient not having received much in the way of care, let alone recent care, and I'm pretty stubborn. He gave me no reason to feel belittled or unheard or anything like that. I'm willing to give him a chance and see if he can help me get feeling better. I've seen him twice and I can work with him. Your mileage may vary but for what it's worth, I have no problem with Dr. Curtis and I'm glad he's in Comox and was willing to accept me as a patient.
