Doctor Horne never really took me seriously. I went to him with a couple of serious concerns and he ran one test for each of them, and looked no further into things to find the cause of my concerns. As a result of his lack of desire to investigate further, I now require surgery on both of my hands and may no longer be employable in my lifelong profession.

I’m unhappy with Dr. Horne, he prescribed me modafinil which caused me to go into psychosis, as people with bipolar disorder shouldn’t take this drug. He stopped prescribing my anti anxiety medication without consulting my physiatrist. He pushed me to go to 12 step meetings which were terrible for my self esteem, my mental health spiralled while under Dr. Horne’s care, I ended up in the hospital for two days due to the misdiagnoses and prescriptions he prescribed me.

Dr. Horne is one of the best family doctor's I have ever had. He is always willing to listen to my concerns, takes me seriously, and is always helpful, polite, and friendly. I never have to fight with him to order tests or make referrals when necessary. I 100% believe he truly cares about his patients. The only reason I don't give his staff 5 stars is the one receptionist who always sits on the left is almost always rude, abrupt, doesn't care at all about what you need, and is never willing to offer any sort of help or suggestions if you can't get in to see Dr. Horne (the other lady there will go to great lengths to get you seen by someone). If they could get rid of her that entire office would be golden.

I like Dr. Horne, he’s very knowledgeable, knows lots about natural remedies, is friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I could say is he referred me to 12 step groups for my addiction issues. I found these groups to be very damaging to my self esteem, lacked science and fact based recovery. I found much more help from doing a smart recovery workbook, seeing a mental health therapist and physiatrist more beneficial. Otherwise Dr. Horne is one of the most knowledgeable and straightforward doctors I have seen.

I've been seeing him for a little over 2 years now. He has always made himself available when I am in distress. He's spends the time to listen to me, and ALWAYS explains his reasoning behind his medication and treatment recommendations.
Seriously, he makes me feel listened to, and I believe he genuinely cares about his patients. Highly recommend this doctor. I've seen a quite a few here in Lethbridge, and he is by far the best.

Dr. Horne is the BEST, most thorough and understanding Dr. I've ever had and I've seen many. He digs for a solution and/or diagnosis even when a finding a solution seems like a daunting task and/or a diagnosis seems unlikely. Doesnt push meds. Genuinely listens. His nurse is so sweet. The is one front end reception staff that makes you feel SO BAD.. she is nasty everytime and makes you feel like you are wasting her time. NO reflection on such an amazing DR.

Has been wonderful since coming to see him. was able to diagnose a problem that I've been having for 20 years that no other dr. was able to figure out.
