Biography
Scott Stanley, MD, FAAOS, ABOS, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon. He performs a combination of minimally invasive and traditional open techniques to care for his patients. He believes in open communication and tackling issues as a team. Dr. Stanley considers it a privilege and opportunity to have patients give him their sacred trust. It motivates him daily to take care of people and help them with complex issues. Dr. Stanley earned his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed residencies in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. He completed an adult and pediatric spine surgery fellowship at The Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic in Lone Tree, Colo. He is a member of multiple medical societies, including the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the North American Spine Society, the Colorado Medical Society, the Denver Medical Society and the Arapahoe-Douglas-Elbert County Medical Society. In his free time, Dr. Stanley spends time outdoors running, skiing, fishing and hunting. He’s also an avid reader and plays the saxophone. Dr. Stanley’s philosophy of care is to listen first. Secondly, to provide patients with the best care, utilizing the most trusted techniques and technologies and applying the same consideration and compassion that he would to any member of his own family.
