He was always very knowledgeable and helpful to me. He got me on track with meds and at home excercises , and a little change in diet.

The previous review is VERY TRUE!!! Notice he is listed as an Orthopedic Surgeon but yet he is currently at Skylyn Wellness Chiropractic Clinic in Spartanburg S.C. on Tuesdays ONLY. writing RX's for pain meds! If you are female, you may have a better chance of remaining a patient there if you allow him to fondle your breasts or even more! He will attempt to eventually, if you are somewhat attractive.I rejected his advances a few months prior & he never treated me the same. I was dismissed for what he said was " failing every drug test since i started coming" I was a patient from Feb 2018- Feb 2019. I was only tested 4 times in a year. I obtained copies of my records & he has documented in EVERY ONE OF MY VISITS and I quote.."I did review her urine drug screens and South Carolina Prescription Monitoring program,each of which is without discrepancy. Patient is in good standing. We are going to continue her medication and follow up in 4 weeks. EVERY MONTH it is noted "There is no aberrant behavior noted regarding her last urine drug screen or SC PMP which is reviewed at each visit" but I was treated worse than a mangy dog by the entire staff the day i was dismissed & he yelled at me that I HAD FAILED EVERY DRUG SCREEN SINCE I STARTED COMING THERE!!!
The day I was dismissed, my female cousin Kay went with me to my visit. I was treated like i had just robbed a bank & killed everybody inside the bank plus a child molester!!!! As we sat there, at the desk where they take your BP & ask you questions about how your medicine is doing, we were in total SHOCK & DISBELIEF that everybody in there was SOOOO HATEFUL & NASTY TO ME!!! The drug test guy, has always been very nice to me & friendly. He treated me like I had just entered an elementary school & murdered all the children inside!!!!!!!! When Dr Jacobus came into the exam room, he approached Kay sitting up on the exam table,with her legs dangling over the side of the table & he walked right up to her & pressed his body up against her legs snug and was attempting to get her to part her legs! She & I both were absolutely appalled! He saw that we both were alarmed & quickly left the room. I wanted to ask him what in the world was going on & why was I being treated this way but of course I never got the chance. Needless to say, they are attempting to double bill my insurance & also billing for dates that I was never there!!Anyone know a SHARP attorney? Reply please. Thank you

This Dr is not a good Dr. He doesn't talk to his patient's he comes in hey how's it going. Where you hurting today and out the room he goes to register you and get your prescription never runs any test or anything else. Then if he discharges patient's without a notice gives patient's no time to explain any reason for what ever he thinks they've done wrong. He's all about the money not the patient's condition. His staff is very rude and inconsiderate. When you pass his drug screenings and he doesn't even do pill counts. So how can he be a good follow the rule Dr. You can't even get any explanation for why he discharged patients for he says not following the rules. He prescribes pain meds to patient's that has over dosed, and gives them higher doses of meds than patient's who really needs them. In my opinion he's not a good Dr. But if you want pain meds he's the one to go too.

I see Dr. J as a pain management patient. He's excellent. Most caring and concerned physician I've seen. He helped me tremendously not by prescription medication but by reducing the overload of medication prescribed by a former doctor. He listens and addresses my concerns.
