I can’t say enough good things about Dr Tam. He performed successfully glaucoma surgery on me. Is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. HE ACTUALLY LISTENS to your concerns. I’ve Seen several eye doctors and I choose to work with him 100%

I had cataract and glaucoma eye surgery performed by Dr. Tam 6 months ago at the Credit Valley Hospital. My vision after the surgery is 20/20 and simply amazing and my eye pressure has dropped down significantly. I don't need to use any more eye drops to lower my once elevated eye pressure.
All in all, the outcome of the surgery is beyond my wildest optimistic expectations, thanks to Dr. Tam.

Dr. Diamond Tam had originally completed an eye surgery 2 years ago. Not only did he not follow up within those years but has moved clinics and failed to mention any information to his patients. As he moved to this clinic, was admitted to hospital due to surgery issues and ER doctor wrote a referral to go back to the original doctor who performed the surgery (stiches did not dissolve nor a follow up was complete as he performed a temporary fix) which was Dr. Diamond Tam and to my surprise, he has declined the file and refused to take back the work he completed. Please be aware of the mishandling and failure to ensure his patients are taken care and lack of healthcare guidance. I would not recommend at all.

I had cataract eye surgery performed by Dr. Tam at the Credit Valley Hospital. Now the resulting vision is terrible in comparison to my vision prior to the surgery. He do not wish to hear complaints and seems to have a very large ego and puts the blame for the results on the patient and not on himself or his staff.

Love Dr. Tam he performed both of my cataracts. I was so nervous but he has that calming affect that makes you feel so comfortable with him... His sense of humor makes you feel like you are with your best friend..... Would recommend him to anyone !!

Dr.Tam did my cataract surgery 7 years ago. It went very well. This year I need a surgery on my left eye and I requested to have it with dr.Tam. To my surprise dr. Tam refused to take me and keeps referring me to dr. Bakshi who does surgery in Toronto only (1 ½ h away ) instead of having the surgery at Credit Valley (10 min away) where him. I called Prism Eye Institute few times and the answer is always “he can’t take you in the moment” even if I agree to wait as long as it takes to have dr. Tam perform the surgery. Any comments dr. Tam ?

My 87 yr old father had his 1st cataract surgery today. Dr. Tam was beyond efficient, being 1 hour ahead for his surgery! He made Dad feel very comfortable and answered all his questions. Hope he's still around when it comes time to doing mine!
