She was the best doctor I had ever met. My life has been better because of her.

Dr. Weins is one of my favourite peoples! She’s caring, considerate, kind, funny, knowledgeable doctor and not afraid to take on a challenge at full speed. Something many other doctors wouldn’t.
Thank you Dr. Weins for all you do!

Dr. Weins delivered out daughter in June and I was SO lucky to have her on call when a c section became my option. She was knowledgeable, caring, considerate, careful, etc, etc, etc. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. It was simply a blessing to be under her care. We didn't have the best attending physician throughout my 36 hour labor so when she stepped in to stress a c section to that dr after our daughter's heart rate was dropping I just could not be more relieved. We are so happy and blessed to have Dr. Weins delivering baby number two in December 2021. - Heather P

I saw Dr. Weins a couple of years ago while she was located in Saskatoon. I was completely disappointed in my experience with her and will not recommend her to anyone in the future. I was a young teenager at the time of my appointments with Weins and was given an ultimatum regarding my excision surgery for Endometriosis, either I agree to take hormone therapy after my operation or she would refuse to operate on me altogether. Not only were her bedside manners horrendous, but once my mom and I returned to my GP for a post-op checkup, we had come to learn that she had sent quite a lengthy letter to him accusing my mother of being overbearing (I was a chronically ill 15 year old girl, of course my mom is concerned) and that I was a pushy, non-cooperative patient because I made it very clear during my time spent with Weins that hormone therapy was not an option for me. At that point in time I had experimented with 13 hormonal drugs including Lupron, basically putting me into menopause as a teenager. My experience with hormonal therapy has never been good and has only ever worsened my symptoms, so I believe it was completely reasonable of me to be apprehensive of such treatment. It was such a bad experience that I refused to return for my 6 month post-op with Weins herself. Again, would not recommend this physician.

I was referred to Dr. Weins from my OBGYN as he was retiring. Her wait list is crazy long (but that proves to me that shes in high demand!) but it was so worth the wait. She listened to everything i had to say, and we discussed other things to help with the endo pain. She recommended a couple of different options such as an IUD, but didn't push it anymore when I told her that I had researched them and that I did not feel comfortable with one. She had looked at my history, and agreed that we will be doing a Hysterectomy soon. I'm now on her surgical wait list, and I am so excited. Everyone told me that even though I have endo, no one would do this surgery for me because i'm only 30. So in conclusion, Dr. Weins is totally worth the wait.

Dr Weins did my surgery for endometriosis and I can't say enough good things about her. She was professional, and made me feel very comfortable. I was told by my fertility specialist that my symptoms didn't sound like endometriosis and she was very dismissive and now thanks to Dr Weins I have a diagnosis and answers to our fertility struggles. Dr Weins was very supportive for my follow up and gave me hope and great information going forward.

Dr. Weins is one of the best doctors in Saskatchewan. She is very patient and thoughtful and always does her best to help with my pain and whatever issues I am momentarily having. The wait to see her is definitely worth it.

Referred from another gynaecologist to Dr weins for endometriosis. She listened to all my questions I had and answered them all very well. I was very nervous before my hysterectomy, but she was able to calm my nerves a bit by reassuring me that she understood my nervousness but that she wasn’t nervous! I have never felt rushed when I see her, an she is always friendly and understanding and willing to answer all of my concerns and come up with something to try for this stupid disease that causes a lot of pain.
