I have been a patient of Dr. Fleishman's for years, and she is an amazing dentist. She will always call you back, and her knowledge is vast and comprehensive. I have severe obstructive and severe central apnea. For nearly three years, I saw pulmonologists, neurologists, otorhinolaryngologists, in New York and New Jersey, over and over again with little to show for it. No course of action that the aforementioned specialists had me pursue was successful, but Dr. Fleischman recommended one that nobody else had suggested. I found out this week just how remarkably well it has improved my numbers. I am incredibly grateful, and highly recommend her!

Last yearI became a patient of Dr. Fleishman's. While her office seems modern and up-to-date, and the staff is very friendly, I feel that the doctor's fees are a bit high. I had a cleaning for which I was charged $120, a separate office visit for which I was charged $65, and x-rays at $115, for a total of $300 for my visit. I felt that I did not really need the x-rays since I had my last ones done about 16 months earlier. The doctor felt that too much time passed since the last ones were taken. I normally get my x-rays done by my periodontist who I visit every 4-6 months and he only takes them every 3-5 years. I suppose I could have rejected the procedure but felt pressured to have it done.

Since I only ever had cleanings done in this office, I don't really know how knowledgeable or capable Dr. Fleishman is, and for that reason I cannot rate her. The Hygienist, Kathy, is very good and shows compassion for any pain she may impose. She offers a numbing agent to avoid or lessen pain.

I don't know if this Doctor is charging comparable prices but it seems that her fees are very high. Since I don't have anyone else other than my periodontist's fee to compare to (he charges $140 total for cleaning and office visit) I am considering looking around for another dentist.

After many years, I am leaving Dr. Fleischmann based on the poor treatment I received from her office manager. She demanded immediate payment even though I have two insurance plans and had already paid $500 upfront for a balance of $1600. I spoke to the doctor who similarly demanded payment. I paid the balance to stop the harassment and one month later received a reimbursement check because my plans paid almost the entire bill. It's all about money with Dr. Fleischmann- patient beware!
