Dr. Russell is ABSOLUTELY the VERY BEST doctor that I have ever talked with on the phone or in person. He is so kind, knowledgable, caring and does whatever he can to explain things to you and help you with your medical situation. I am 70 years old and I have seen many, many doctors and specialists in my life and without a doubt he is the best doctor I have ever seen. If I could give him a ten star rating out of five I would, as he is excellent. He takes time to listen and answer all my questions and concerns. He has a wonderful personality, is a fantastic human being, and he is such a caring and knowledgable surgeon. His secretary Julie, is absolutely wonderful too. She is so sweet and caring and it is so easy to talk with her in person or on the phone. Thank you Dr. Russell and Julie for your care and kindness. You are the best!!!

Dr. Russell is not only a fantastic doctor but a great human being. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly before and after my esophageal surgery. His bedside manner is 2nd to none. I feel extremely fortunate to have had him as my surgeon.

Dr Russell gave us the results of my husbands lung xray/scan and a PET scan that he needs surgery for a tumor in the lung. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He explained what needs to be done in terms that we understood.

Dr Russell is an excellent surgeon ,he did esphoageal surgery on my husband .we are forever grateful and We owe him big time.During a difficult surgery he saved him.My husband feel very comfortable with him and he makes him feel confident he is going to be ok. He made us all feel comfortable and was very easy to talk to.

Didnt feel the same warmth from this doctor as other reviewers. I was left with more questions than answers. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave. Visit was shortest diagnosis and explanation I ever received.
