I’m sure she’s very intelligent and knows a lot but I didn’t really feel like she cared to try with me. I had previous pregnancy issues and some this pregnancy and I just kept getting rushed out of the office over and over again after being told I was just nervous and was fine. Then when I bled out during delivery I was given no answers as to why this happened and no tests to find out how severe it was or if there was anything else wrong. Not even a blood test. Another doctor at the hospital actually ordered my blood tests after she left..and realized I lost so much blood I needed transfusions. It just really felt like she didn’t care and this was something that was very traumatic to me and keeps me up at night.

She is level headed and matter of fact. Some may read that as cold or impatient - in fact, I honestly wasn't sure about her the first couple of times we met. But I found that she simply doesn't get terribly worked up and she's not one to overload patients with information. She always took time to answer questions during my pregnancy and her level-headedness was perfect during delivery. Afterward, when she checked on me in the postpartum room, she was warm and maternal. I look forward to being under her care again in the future.

The front desk staff is outstanding, the doctor and the attending nurse were both unprofessional, rude, dismissive and the bedside manner of the doctor was horrible. I usually prefer female doctors but Dr. Hilliker makes you feel like she's doing you a favor by attending to you. I don't care that she's not friendly but her bedside manner is terrible. Her demeanor when she answers questions is impatient. I'm looking for a new OB-GYN.

I saw Dr Hilliker once. That was enough. She was very dismissive and rude when I asked her to test my hormone levels. She interrupted me and said, "you're too young!" Her treatment plan was to put me on an anti depressant. I have never suffered with depression. I went to another gynecologist who did test my hormone levels. I found out that I have basically no progesterone or testosterone. I'm happy to finally know what my issues are so that I can make changes. I could have found this out a year ago but Dr Catherine Hilliker refused to do her job and listen to me. If you want a Dr who listens and cares about you and your health do NOT see DR Hilliker
