Dr. Maria Hillmer and Dr. Jeremy Scarlett are the most kindest compassionate doctors I have ever met and been treated by. Dr. Hillmer cares more about her patients than she does her pocketbook. And they treat patients with dignity and respect.
My previous pain doctor whom I had seen for almost 9 years, Dr. Nosheen Hasan, and her assistants Jennelle and others were so very rude and disrespectful. Sometimes Dr. Hasan will make her patients wait for hours...5 hours or longer, before being seen. And also performing unnecessary urine And blood tests at almost every appointment which seriously drains people's insurance.

And they treated their patients more like drug seeking addicts and junkies than they did like human beings that are hurting. And they would make me feel so horrible, like my life wasn't even worth living.

Then, at one my lowest points in life ever, after 8 years of never missing an appointment and never failing a blood or urine drug test, they had a nurse falsify my med count on their records and then just discharged me like I was garbage.

They failed to and refused to give me a referral to another pain doctor, which is actually a violation of the American Medical Association. They also failed to give me a 30 day notice which is another violation.

Dr. Hasan left me in serious emotional duress by what they did. And when I contacted Wheaton Franciscan about it, they were so very hateful and rude to me. They stood behind their doctor and her lying, and did not once investigate it. For that, I will Never enter into another Wheaton Franciscan hospital, doctor's office, or ER for long as I live.

When I got to my car after being dropped by Hasan, I prayed to God for guidance. I am working and trying to be productive and a respectable community member. Anyway, as soon as I prayed, God guided me to Dr. Jeremy Scarlett. I was so afraid that he would not accept me as a patient because Hasan had dropped me.

But I was completely honest during that first visit (and still are). Dr. Scarlett was so compassionate and he accepted me right away. And although he made slight changes to my pain meds, he still continued treating my pain. He had me do full complete x-rays to get to the bottom of my pain issues. He spent time with me, and now I see Dr. Ballmer, she continues that same kindness and compassion. I never been treated which such caring yet doctor consciousness than I am treated with now.

And I thank God each and every day for Dr.'s Scarlett and Dr. Hillmer!! Praise the Lord for them both!!!
