Dr. Hartwig has been my family doctor for over 12 years. His attention to mental, chronic and female health issues is deplorable. He's a script writer with dangerous advice and can't see past his maleness to look further into someone's health issues. At 130lbs and in my early 30's his "solution" to my anxiety and heart palpitation concerns was, "You're just out of shape." For insomnia, a full bottle of maxed out milligrams of Xanex with no discussion of any other factors. And for adult depression, regressed to a prescription from when I was 15years old that we found DIDN'T HELP. When asked if I could try something else and discuss dosage, I was told it's "all about the same." My other family members have had similar interactions, telling one of my family members to "stop putting so much food" in their mouth, when a second opinion found serious issues that needed medication and a long term health plan. He also wrote scripts for another family member that were in conflict to their history of addiction. Like any other doctor he was great for the quick fix for colds, flus or injuries but if it needed some compassionate care, GOOD LUCK and get a second opinion. Thank GOD he's retiring.

I've had Dr Hartwig as my doctor for 32 years and he is now retiring. The last few years I haven't had the greatest care from him - maybe he should have retired sooner - just wish he would have given more notice!

Been with this Dr since 2016, still don't feel he's very personable. Just another patient, don't think he really cares. I would never recommend him to anyone.

My Dad is elderly, after a stroke, had scheduled over the phone appointment with Dr Hartwig.
Doctor never called. After inquiring, turns out the appointment was canceled. There was no courtesy phone call to inform my Dad why it was canceled. My Dad was waiting by the phone 2 hours. Very disrespectful and unprofessional behavior, would never recommend his services

Dr. Hartwig has been my family doctor for 20 plus years. Nice, polite, respectful, positive, understanding, caring, and in and out. The Staff have always been nice, polite, and helpful working in a job that is not always appreciated, I think they're amazing.

Dr. Hartwig is an upbeat, affable guy who has a way of putting one at ease.
He always asks how everyone in my family is doing and he goes above and beyond - even calling me on my cell to ask how well I'm recuperating.
Unfortunately, his schedule is gradually reducing (now just working 3 days a week) as he eases towards retirement.
