Our son told us something wasn’t right with him when he started middle school. At the same time he was sociable, good in sports, never had problems at school and grades were ok. Come high school though, he was a different kid and we recognized something was amiss. It took us three years to find Dr. Dholakia, but we are at peace we made the right choice. Our son is happy, made incredible change education wise in time to graduate high school, has a healthy social life again, and our family life is stronger. We thank Dr. Dholakia and his incredible staff for all the support and guidance. The knowledge he has provided and the support from his staff have helped us every step of the way.

Very knowledgeable and patient. He puts a priority on addressing the patient's and their family members' concerns. I appreciate that he is not quick to prescribe medications before looking at other possibilities to achieve optimum health of the

Wonderfully *current* trauma informed and science/evidence based care provider who is very understanding and gives the right amount of time needed to fully assess your care needed. Really listens to your needs/concerns, and is there to talk on the phone whenever needed to make adjustments in your best interest or upon emergencies, giving the full amount of time you’d want out of a conversation addressing all your needs/concerns. Very comprehensive approach to psychiatric care and referrals to ‘preferable’ mental health resources customized to address all your treatment needs.

It is so hard to find a good psychiatrist, and I've finally found one. While my last one was amazing, when he moved and referred me to Dr. Dholakia, I didn't know what to expect. But I've never met a more compassionate, kind, and caring doctor who is so thorough in his assessment that I feel he truly knows me. He actually gets me and understands me! He took two, two hour sessions with me to fully understand my complicated case and to understand who I am. He looked me in the eye and told me with great confidence that he believes there is hope for me and that together we will get to the bottom of this and get me the help I need. It was so reassuring. While I am still on a long journey to find healing for my mental illnesses, Dr. Dholakia has given me the confidence that I will reach the other side. I can't recommend Dr. Dholakia enough, he is the psychiatrist you have been searching for!
