Barenbaum will recommend a root canal every time. Beware of unnecessary and expensive root canals and crowns. Aldo know that a well done root canal takes 1.5 hours and a crown 2 hours to prep the tooth and then a return visit of 45 minutes. Bardnbaum may be fast but her speed is at the expense of your teeth, mouth health and potentially heart health and endocarditis due to unsanitary practices. She does not use a dental dam resulting in INFECTION. Beware.

Dr. Barenbaum did a terrible root canal, placed a crown, which resulted in an infected abscesses tooth requiring another root canal by a specialist and another crown. The other crowns Barenbaum placed were poorly made in China cadmium and did not properly fit around the tooth resulting in gum inflammation, requiring gum surgery and new crowns to respect the biological width of the gum. In other words: Barenbaum does not know what she is doing!! I guarantee that if you need a filling the words “root canal” will be next. HORRIBLE torture and greedy person providing terrible dentistry. Her license should be revoked.

Do you want root canals as a result of poor dentistry? Then go to Polina Barenbaum. Her dentistry may be fast but the results are sloppy and she will then recommend a $2k root canal and then a $2k crown. Don't go to this doctor. You have been warned. Not trustworthy, ethical or competent.

HORRIBLE!!!!Crowns were not fitted to the individual teeth but just taken from the factory and cemented on and interfered with the biological width resulting in inflamed gums in less than six months. Crowns had to be redone by a board certified prosthodontist after gum surgery by a periodontist. Insurance would not cover since it they had to be redone before 5 years. Only go to Dr. Barenbaum if you want crowns and root canal surgeries. Poorly done at that.

I had crowns done by Polina Barenbaum. Every single crown poorly fit around the roots of each tooth resulting in root canals and the need to have a qualified prosthodontist re-make quality crowns. An awful experience by someone who should not be called doctor.

Poorly fitted Made in China crowns did not snug up against the roots, which resulted in gum irritaion, root canals and new fillings and then new crowns. I recommend finding a different dentist and going to an endodontist for any root canal. Dr. Barenbaum does not even use a rubber dam so sanitary procedures are doubtful. One assistant picked up something off the floor, wiped the sink and then handled equipment that was going into my mouth for treatment. All without changing gloves or washing hands. Disgusting. I did not see anyone wiping anything down.
