Terrible surgeon whose failed surgery made me under go a second surgery at brisbane. The second surgeon expressed serious concerns about peter mcewen having done a poor job.

Very unethical and arrogant old school type. The surgery was a total disaster and I had to get a second opinion where the new doctor was horrified about what had been done previously. Avoid at all costs and save yourself time, money and unnecessary frustration and grief.

Dr McEwen is a true master of his craft, something any doctor should aspire to. He trained to do the best surgery available and I could not be more grateful for his expert hands. He surrounds himself with professionals and competence, it was really an excellent experience.

After my daughter had an ACL reconstruction with Dr McEwen last year she recommended I see him about the excruciating arthritis in my knee. In January I had a total knee replacement with Peter which has completely changed my life for the better. Not only is he a brilliant surgeon, he takes the time to explain everything thoroughly so you are not left with any doubts or concerns regarding the upcoming procedure. He stressed that if I followed his post op instructions I could expect a good outcome, and thats exactly what I got. I am now doing things I haven’t been able to do in many years, and my quality of life has improved drastically. I am so grateful to Dr McEwen, and I can't rate him highly enough!

I had an ACL reconstruction with Dr McEwen last year and I couldn't be happier. I was so happy with my experience with Dr McEwen I recommended him to my mum who had been suffering from debilitating arthritis in her knee. Very unethical, arrogant and egotistic surgeon. Avoid at all costs. I am a specialist and he treated me worse than a dog when his surgery failed. I was lucky i had the contacts to get a second opinion and get a second proper surgery done at Brisbane
