Years ago, I saw him at the ER (he was the psychiatrist on call) when I was just a teenager. When I started to explain my symptoms he LITERALLY laughed at me and my experience. He admitted me in the psych ward and gave me drugs that were so strong I felt drunk. When the nurses tried to reach him, he told them to “stop calling me I have an important diner tonight”. He told them that if I refused to take my meds, to just give me something to calm me down or tie me up. I was not violent. HE WAS ON CALL. The next morning I saw another psychiatrist (Dr. Nadeau) and he said he couldn’t comprehend why a 15 year old was put on those meds and why I was even admitted in the first place. Dr. Nadeau discharged me as soon as our appointment was over and changed my meds to something more appropriate for my condition and for a freaking child. Dr. Millet traumatized me to the point that I refused treatment after seeing him.
