This practitioner obviously doesn't know what she is doing. She is not a rheumatologist. Her way of treating is course after course of prednisone and never has time to return calls or if you need an office visit it is over a month's wait (for emergency visit). She never goes over labs with you even when they are abnormal, and if you call to ask her opinion, she emails through the portal with incomplete thoughts and leaves you even more confused than you were. She never examined me but immediately diagnosed me with lupus and another devastating diagnosis to go along with it. After a second opinion, the devastating diagnosis was not even a possibility. She has no people skills whatsoever, and her office is more interested in having fun with each other than treating the people who come to be treated.

Unbelievable practitioner. When another local Rheumatologist told me I only had fibromyalgia and he would no longer see me I went to see Dorothy. While she gave me the same diagnosis she continued to treat me. I now feel better than ever and would highly recommend.

blood tests did show a slightly higher ANA. She prescribed medication for the Lupus which gave me a whole body rash and did not acknowledge that the medicine caused it. She gave me prednisone for the rash. During the course of 4 months, I had 4 bottles of prednisone. Dorothy said the Lupus was drug induced and would resolve in 2 years. Things didn't add up and I went for a second opinion. The Rheumatologist MD reviewed my lab results and concluded that I didn't have Lupus. He said that my ANA was slightly higher but I did not have the markers of Lupus. I was devastated to learn I had Lupus and devastated to learn that I was given the wrong diagnosis. My friend also went to Dorothy and was also diagnosed with Lupus on her first visit. She was also told that Lupus would be resolved in 2 years. She also went for a second opinion and she also was told she didn't have Lupus. I would recommend being followed by a Rheumatologist MD.

Dorothy took over my care after I was admitted to the hospital. She was sincere and walked me through every step of the way with anything that she has done. She found things that others could not find and has helped to give me some normalcy in my life.
She helped diagnose my Celiac as well as diagnosing my Lupus most recently. She had every test under the sun conducted to make sure 100% of what I have.
If you want someone who truly cares, who listens, gives correct and good advice and treats their patients like gold, then Dorothy is the person too see.

I have lots of issues that many other people chalk up to my MS. Dorothy is very good. She has been one of the only people to see past my MS and understands that not everything that happens to a person is MS related. She is well educated with well over 10 years experience. She takes her time with each visit and listens to me and makes sure all of my concerns are addressed. She is extreamly though!

Felt it was always productive. She works closely with the neurologist in the office so you feel the team approach. Very pleased

she claims to be a Neurologist to MVP and charged me separate for a visit. Although she is knowledgeable, she is cocky and can be very condescending. I'm leaving that practice ASAP!

Very skilled and knows MS well. She always takes time with the patients and is more thorough than most MDs. I am glad I got to see her in between my Neurologist
