This man is not very intelligent. Did not even read the medical info sent to him by my FD. When I asked questions, he would answer back with a sarcastic question. My phone call with him lasted a whole 9 minutes. He kept saying he doesn’t diagnose MRI’s and radiologists make too much money. Honestly I was left baffled by this conversation. When my FD called me to discuss his report, we were both dumbfounded as he gave me a diagnosis that was complete nonsense.
I may make a complaint to the college of physicians as he absolutely did not conduct any kind of proper or professional assessment of my medical condition.
Needless to say, my doctor has referred me to another specialist. He may be a good doctor if your case is straightforward as there isn’t much intelligence required when it’s a no brainer.
On the positive, his receptionist was very nice.

Had a spinal fusion in 2017, because of severe sciatic nerve pain. Everything went well, and I have been able to walk pain free since then. I highly recommend Dr. Comstock!

Dangerous. Told me There was nothing wrong with my back. Went to see two other doctors and they told me I have severe damage to my lower back. They sent me to the pain clinic in Moncton to see Dr. Nick. He has been treating me with injections and says I need surgery to correct 3 vertebrae. All this clown 🤡 cumstock did was look at the MIR and then say it’s a mess. That the pain wasn’t coming from my lower back and left. In 2004 I fell 30 feet. Landed like a cat and pooched my back. Compression fractures from L4 down. Nope that wasn’t causing any pain. Lol. Dude is dangerous. and a 🤡.

I have seen Dr. Comstock a few times over the past 8/9 years for lower back issues. I've had nothing but positive experiences throughout these visits. I recently had a spinal fusion due to my lower back issues, and related neuropathy. He and his staff answered all my questions when I had called afterward, as well as seen me in clinic to ensure all was well. I had another surgeon referred to me by my family doctor, but specifically asked for Dr. Comstock, as I have dealt with him previously and knew of his excellent work. I would highly recommend him!

I meant with Dr Comstock at 10 this morning. After very short physical examination and a quick peek at the MRI he concluded that there was nothing he could do and stated the pain I was having was not from my back. I go through everyday with pain at all levels in three areas of my back with the lower back being the worst. It is barely manageable buy high doses of pain muscle relaxing and nerve interrupting medications. At night time I get minimal sleep due to recurring bouts leg pain going from my back to my toes in both the left and right leg pending on which side I lay on. Laying on my back is totally out of the question due to immediate tightening and spasming off the back muscles. How can any doctor come up with such a conclusion as Dr Comstock did this morning. I've waited almost 4 months to see him and now I fear I need to wait another 4 months to see someone else. Hopefully someone with more compassion, more professional, and certainly more common sense diagnostic reasoning. I feel so disheartened by what Dr Comstock said. During my years of medical difficulties I have had a large number of care providers hello over wide range off acceptable care. Dr Comstock is certainly on the lower end of acceptable care. I will be praying for Him and for every person that he will see. . May God help them.

Dr. Comstock did my second spine surgery and he is amazing. Everything he said was 100% exact. He took my case which was very severe fusing three vertebrae and the coccyx. The surgery took more than six hours and I came out with a new lower back which will allow me to enjoy a new life. One of the very best, dedicated, helpful, and competent surgeon that operated on me. This was my second spinal surgery and there is no comparison with the first one . I strongly recommend Dr. Comstock to all. And if you have the opportunity to have him don't let it pass. Thanks Doc.

He was a nice guy for sure, but his analysis went 180 degrees opposite to all other doctors I had seen over the last 6 years. He seemed to ignore straight forward symptoms of cause and effect of my back, and made his analysis of ONLY what he saw in front of him that day, which as a good day for me. I mostly thought he was NOT wanting to do anything with my type of issue because most surgeons don't want to deal with osteoarthritis of the back, and he also said the LUMBAR DISC DISEASE did NOT exist and it was just a catagory that is converient for systems to use, again...trying to say that I really don't have a back issue...which is very obvous to me and other professionals that I do. Very odd and a rather obstructive and damaging position to take that he know would not help me in any way. He started pointing to possibilities of other diseases and conditions, a sort of shot gun approach to possiblities, but seeing my back as so no source to my pain, neuropathy, weakness, etc...I have very typical symptoms of spinal issues, so this was quite upsetting as it now will be in my record and THE SYSTEM that depends on these type of reports will see this as a wiggle out of coverage, etc. So, I found he NOT only was helpful, he was HURTING my condition and possible help I so desperately need as I am at the end of my patience of my pain that has ruined my life. I am looking for the truth, of course, but not a counter diagnosis to 5 doctors before his, and 2 MRI summaries...he is obstructive and harmful in his actions. I regret ever seeing him.
