By far the best doctor in the world!!! He takes pride in his patients and genuinely cares about you as a person, not just about the money.

fantastic care and a very friendly and efficient attitude. I have only stopped seeing this doctor because I have moved to DC and it's too far to drive! I really recommend Dr. S Grimm (and the entire practice(.

I have had Dr. Grimm as my doctor for about 15 yrs. and have been going to his office for 24 years. I've had surgery twice in that time and was treated by both Dr. Grimm and Dr. Leary with the utmost care. One of the things I greatly appreciate about Dr. Grimm is that he doesn't reach for the Rx pad to solve problems! His advice on treatment of menopausal symptoms is well thought out and not just some parroting of the latest quick fix (meds) that do more harm than good--instead, he finds solutions to gently guide your body to where it should be. Recently my daughter, who had returned home after graduating college, needed to find a doctor for her annual exam. I've been telling her to go to Dr Grimm for years but she has always been more comfortable with a female doctor. She reluctantly took my advice (maybe she IS a little wiser after years away from home :) Well she came home raving about Dr. Grimm. He takes his time, listens to everything you say and is very gentle in his approach.

I went to Dr. Grimm in his Chantilly office. I LOVED the staff there. Dr. Grimm made me and my husband feel so much calmer about having a baby. He never seemed in a hurry to rush through our appointment. Indeed, he really took his time to answer all of our questions - thoroughly, too (not with a "this should suit you" answer). I ended up needing a C-section because our daughter was in a breach position. Dr. Grimm was amazing! He was quick, calm, funny and he did an amazing job stitching me back up. My scar is very faded and very small (it's been a year). I adore this doctor and am excited to see him in a few weeks because I just found out I'm pregnant with number 2!

Dr. Grimm and his colleagues at Capital Women's Care in Vienna, VA treat the patient like they are part of a process, not an individual. I had serious complications following the birth of my son (uncontrolled bleeding). The doc who deliverd my son neglected to do an episiotomy contributing to a difficult repair. He left a sponge inside me which led to infection and re-hospitalization. Dr. Grimm made me feel like I was complaining too much and that there was nothing wrong with me (despite fever). A week later, I was in constant pain due to the sponge. I was reluctant to return to see Dr. Grimm because he was so rude, but fortunately, I did. Finally, Dr. Grimm found the sponge (a week later) and quickly pulled it out, never acknowledging that it should have been removed earlier. Because there was no permanent damage I have no legal recourse. That being said, please carefully consider whether Dr. Grimm or Capital Women's Care in Vienna VA is the right place for you.

Don't be fooled by the name. Dr. Grimm has been my very pleasant doctor for about 15 years and is a very kind & personable physician. He delivered two of my children by C-section & I had no complications. He takes time with the patients & genuinly cares. He knows how to make a patient feel comfortable.

I was not impressed by Dr. Grimm, two of his colleagues or the office staff. The staff is inefficient, unhelpful and sometimes rude. Instead of talking about my pregnancy, all Dr. Grimm did was bellyache about his malpractice premiums, the horrible hours OB-GYNs must keep, etc. Maybe he needs to find another profession. Also, they have annoying nickel and diming signs on which they specify the charges to talk on the phone about lab results or other questions you may have. Finally, they wanted to charge me $20 to fax my records to another physician's office (they had recommended them to me). When I said I'd be happy to come back to their office to pick up the records and hand carry them to avoid the fee, they balked and did not charge me. I left them and have never looked back.
