cannot thank Dr. Penner enough, pushing hard for a diagnosis, and treatment of my condition. Listens and takes concerns seriously. and i felt like I could not be in better hands.

Dr. Penner delivered my baby at Red Deer Hospital in April 2020. I was induced and the stages leading up to delivery were a bit stressful at times but Dr. Penner was able to make the process a lot less stressful then it could have been, just with her manurisms and personality. She made the delivery of my baby a moment me and my husband look back on and reflect on how much we liked her and appreciated how she was.

Not thrilled with the treatment of my mother. Doesn’t seem to actually LISTEN to the patient or recommendations from other doctors my mother needs to see. Rarely actually sees the patient in person. Zero bedside manner.

NOTHING but amazing things to say about dr penner!! She was friendly and patient and made me feel very comfortable. Front desk staff is all over the place at Sylvan Family Health. The amount of paperwork that hasn’t made it to where it needs to go or simply being put on hold to be hung up on was outrageous. But if you don’t mind being patient with them (I think they are very very busy), then go with Dr Penner because she is truly the best!

Dr. Penner has always helped me in a very timely manner. I consider myself lucky to have her available to manage my health and concerns. Knowledgeable and explores all options before diagnosing me. Answers within the business day on the online portal any questions that come to mind outside of the appointment. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up! -Chad J.

I got taken as a patient by her through my second pregnancy. She is now my whole families family dr. Dr Penner has always been very attentive and listened to my concerns and genuinely took them into consideration. She has always been very honest, upfront, caring and kind. I feel extremely lucky to have such a great family dr for my family. The staff in the clinic are absolutely wonderful as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Penner since she has come to Sylvan Lake. She is very attentive, helpful and kind. She never makes me feel like I am taking too much time or rushes me. She is a top notch Physician and Sylvan Lake is lucky to have her!

I have a needle fear, Dr. Penner addressed this were no other Doctor would properly, there was some hiccups with scheduled test however they got worked out so far.
