Suffered a broken hip and Mr Michels came to my bed in NHS Raigmore Hospital he came with a positive attitude and spoke briefly as to what he likely would find and said he would fix the issue and added what at times may go wrong and he said the anaesthetist would come to speak, which did and said it would be a full knock out so he could control my heart. I woke within two hours and pain-free, delighted, Mr Michels followed up for two more sessions and he agreed that my right knee with bone on bone was a major cause leading to my fall and in five to six weeks with my left hip recovered sufficiently he would tackle the offending issue with my right knee. Mr Michels is held in high esteem by the dedicated staff who run the wards with care and nothing is too much for them to make patients feel at ease. The whole experience is a credit to the NHS
