Dr Advani is scattered and does talk over you during your consult. I agree with the other reviewers. But she does know what she is doing. No other doctor thought to run the tests she ran. No other doctor gave me the advice she gave that helped me. 3 other Endochrinologists said I was fine when I knew I wasn’t. Dr Advani pin pointed the problem. I have to prepare myself everytime I meet with her to make sure I get my questions in. She is good but I have actually switched to Dr Nambi who takes my insurance. He is very good as well and answers your questions.

In 57 yrs I've never experienced such neglect and narcissism from a doctor. Left me a vm prescribing surgery. Then a vm changing her mind. Then told me about her uterus. Mistakes and distractions during calls. Always rushed and impossible to converse with. A waste of a smart doctor with NO bedside matter or humility toward patients. Beyond.

The poorest bedside manner I have ever experienced with a doctor. She yelled at me for crying after she told me my A1C was too high to get pregnant. She then prescribed medicine that I couldn’t take while pregnant. I switched to Dr. Tess Jacob in West Orange . She listened and helped me bring my A1C down with meds that I can take while pregnant. Dr. Advani pushed her expensive “remedies” that made me feel worse and didn’t really work. I am glad I switched doctors.

Eccentric for sure but then how else would you know she is one of the best. Dr. Sonoo is very perceptive, brilliant in her field, and a delight to visit. Always full of life, she works hard to get you back of track :)

I have been a patient of Dr. Advani's for over a decade. She has been a wonderful doctor for me. I have a nulti system inflamatory disease which can get burdensome with a doctor for each system. Dr. Advani has taken such a personal approach to my medical situation. She is very vested in my getting well. If you listen to her, ask questions- which she will answer- and do what she says, you will get better! Of all my doctors that I have - and i have many wonderful ones, she is the most interested in seeing me get healthy. She see the whole me. I would be lost without her!

I have waited to give a review of this Dr. for awhile now. Because i need time to absorb the terrible service I got from her, although I got the test I wanted preformed her bedside manner is terrible she doesn’t allow you to speak or ask questions. the staff totally messed up my first appointed which I waited 2 months for then they rescheduled me for another 2 months later. When she was going over my lab work i basically couldn’t ask anything when I tired she talked over me. She pushed her meds on me which actually made me worse I ended up running back to my previous endocrinologist for help and he was so confused as to why she messed up my medication. Which in turn made me so sick so quick. She is a total quack! Really I don’t know how she keeps her license. I learned my lesson which is to do my homework before going to a new doctor now I interview the doctor I’m going to see and look at review first!

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to a goat! I went in with questions about my blood work, and must've asked her the same question twice, because she slammed down her fist and said I don't understand why you keep asking me the same question! please do not question my expertise! And then she started to rattle off all of her degrees and certifications. And then stormed out of the room. And my thyroid numbers are worse than ever under her care. Goodbye Dr. Advani. Maybe being a doctor is not the right profession for you, because you are not as knowledgeable as you think you are, you are threatened by patients who challenge you, and you have no bedside manner. Horrific

Reading these reviews, I can not help but agree with all the negative ones. She was rude, pushy, impatient and unprofessional. Offered very little of her time. Her staff disorganized. It makes me happy to read some of the better reviews because I'm happy she has been able to help some. However, I would never recommend her and will never be going back.

I had fluctuate thyroid and fibroid when I stared to be Dr Advanis Patient.
After less than a year my thyroid is under control and my fibroid is shrinking .
I Would highly recommend Dr Advani
