Dr Wilson saw me first time when I was suffering from excessive bleeding and other complications that were unresolved previously. She is an excellent and empathetic listener, answered all my questions/concerns and was able to solve all my issues with proper follow up visits/testing. Dr. Wilson correctly diagnosed and prescribed the best treatment plan for me. I have had no problems since then and am happy to recommend her.

Dr. Wilson prescribed me one year worth of Lupron injection which lead to an unrecoverable panick attack that I have to live with for the rest of my life... I wish she had better way to fix my heavy breeding than injecting Lupron into my body to stop it, for one year!

I am a long time patient of this practice, and there has been a fair amount of turnover through the years. The reception desk staff is always rude and seem to have no interest in customer service or helpfulness. Last visit I was scheduled with Dr. Wilson and was apparently the last appointment of the day. She was not unpleasent but OBVIOUSLY had no interest in anything but getting me out the door as quickly as possible. It was the first time she had met me, and a year since my previous appt and I was going through some ongoing issues that I wanted advice about. She asked me NO questions of any kind, took no history, just a quick peek and sent me on the way! I was so stunned that I didn't ask any questions and felt almost violated, certainly disrespected. It was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. I don't recommend this practice to anyone.

I have found the reception and nursing staff very pleasant and professional, in person and on the phone. Dr. Doane-Wilson has a wonderful "bedside manner," is an excellent communicator, and was very helpful and proactive in addressing my concerns. I have never felt rushed during my visits. I definitely recommend her.

This doctor had the nerve to tell me that I made her late for her next patient because I asked 1 question during my appt! This is after I waited 15 min. for her. It was my 1st preg and I had a question, she literally was answering it as I walked behind her down the hall as she was showing me to the front door on her way to her next patient. Horrible level of care. The whole practice is bad, avoid this place if you need anything more than a standard pap smear.

Front desk/Receptionist is rude. Dr. Wilson is nice, very helpful and knowledgable. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson.

The front desk/billing staff was quite unpleasant. The physician assistant and doctor were nice enough, but there were a few things I was not pleased about. Instead of calling, or meeting with me personally to discuss my test results, I was sent a form letter with my diagnosis. That seemed quite unprofessional. Also, the doctors there are not allowed to prescribe certain birth control methods (e.g. IUDs). If they advertise as a "women's health" practice, they should provide me with COMPLETE women's health care, not just limited health care. Or, at least warn patients prior to their visit. I had to go to another office to get the care I needed. I will not be returning to this office ever.

Dr. Wilson delivered my son. I had only seen her once prior to this and was happy to have her on call. She has been great in the following 4 years. While I find the office staff to be lacking in professionalism and very unhelpful, Dr. Wilson is great. I am seriously thinking about switching practices to get away from the front desk staff, but hate to lose Dr. Wilson. Beware: The practice has gotten too big and there are not enough doctors to support the patient base. I was just in for an ob check and they have no remaining appts until Jan. I'm due in January and received no explanation or apology for this. I guess I'm on my own until I deliver.

Dr. Wilson is very knowledgeable and friendly. While her schedule is very busy, she is very mellow and takes the time to answer questions. She is the best gynecologist I've ever visited. Annuals are quick and completely painless. Virginia Women's Health Associates is located in both Vienna (very close to Tysons) and Reston. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful. Offices are very clean. Lab results are provided on time and in person. I definitely recommend!
