I am very pleased with Dr Alam service. I know some people get upset about not getting right in when their appointment is set BUT that is because she takes her time in listening to what the problem is and trying and researching for a solution. I have been with Dr Alam for 10 years and I have no complaints at all . I love the staff and love the concern and helpfulness from DR Alam

Dr. Alam has been my primary care physician for roughly 20 years. I find her to be very professional and very knowledgeable. She has always addressed any of my concerns as well as inform me of any of her concerns. The doctor always has time for her patients and truly listens. Even after moving to NH, I continue to see Dr. Alam.

Had a visit to Dr Alam just today. I arrived 1/2hr early, and was seen by Dr Alam earlier than my appointed time. Dr Alam is thorough, attentive & up-to-date on current health issues, especially those that pertain to me. She listens carefully to my comments and works with me to establish reasonable goals for my continued good health. I have been going to Dr Alam for almost 20 years; it is reassuring to have a physician involved in my health decisions who has known me for such a long time. I never feel rushed, ignored or unimportant. Check-in, copay & making follow-up appointments is fast & easy; staff are friendly & helpful. Highly recommend Dr Alam and her practice!

On numerous occasions over the past decade I have sat in the waiting room waiting too long for Dr. Alam and have wondered why I have not left the practice, then I finally enter the waiting room and remember why I stay. She treats each patient as if they are the only one she has. She is extremely thorough regarding anything that is troubling me, both medically and emotionally. Over the past year, I have had some serious medical issues and Dr. Alam's proactive testing, which I felt was a waste of time at the time resulted in early detection of the situation.
They have recently made some changes in the office which have resulted in some positive changes in the wait time in the office. I would highly recommend the practice.

First of all, this doctor's staff is very friendly and helpful. They always get me an appointment ASAP. This is very important. Secondly, Dr. Alam really cares about her patients and always is very thorough. You could not ask for a better doctor. She always is on top of everything and I get prompt results from any tests I have. I am never left in the dark about anything.
She is very forthright with giving me all the information I need and spends the time with me explaining anything that needs explaining.

What drives me crazy about Dr. Alam is also what I love about her. True, she is late for appointments BUT when she is in the examining room, you have her undivided attention. She asks questions and listens to your answers. She engages in an actual conversation . She doesn't only ask about your physical complaints but discusses any emotional/personal worries you may have that could impact your physical condition. She is caring and never dismisses your concerns. Her staff was a problem in the past and almost prompted me to leave her practice, but there is a definite improvement on that front. I'd rather have a doctor who cares than a robot who is on time and rushes you out of the examining room.
