I was informed 4 years after the fact, by my insurance, that I was overcharged. Whether knowingly or by mistake, I was double charged and my insurance was charged. Years later I requested the difference per my insurance agents instructions. Cannon sent me a letter with much embellished charges. He was probably not aware that I kept all records and still have them. His letter had what I consider a veiled threat. I do not know how many others he has done this to. He charges a full price then claims insurance but United Healthcare has a SET PRICE. He charged them based on that, but us patients unknowingly, he charged more than the SET PRICE he was supposed to. He is now not part of United Healthcare... so they couldn't help me to get what is due back. He has not complied with my requests so I can now only inform others. I do not recommend someone who knowingly or by mistake, charges you twice the amount they were supposed to. Yes I paid $1800 more than I was supposed to.

When considering orthodontists for my family and I, I would not trust anyone else besides Dr. Canon. He has put braces on my sons, and even myself. After 50 years of my teeth being disformed, Dr. Canon has succeeded in repairing the damage caused from misplaced teeth during my childhood. This process has only taken one year. I am proud to say that I can now enjoy the benefits of a perfect smile.

i want to start off by saying the comments below are hugely exaggerated in to lies. I have been a patient of Dr Cannon for about 3 years now. I will be honest and say that I am not an easy patient to deal with. He never failed to answer my millions of questions. If I would have wore my rubber bands I would have finished earlier. Some people need to stop blaming other because i bet they had the same lazy problems. I would recommend dr cannnon because he truly cares about his patients. He always works with them with their appointments and accepts flexible payments atleast that is how he treated me. TAHNK YOU DR CANNON

I am still having nightmares over the 5 years I spent taking my daughter to Dr. Cannon. I could never figure out if I looked like some teacher he hated years ago or what, but he treated me like some sort of criminal and refused to adjust my daughter's braces if I was in his view. I honestly don't know what the man's problems are, but he does have problems, as confirmed by the fact that his office staff completely changed a number of times while we went there. When her braces finally came off after 5 years, he told her that they were still not straight and that she would need Invisaligns! My poor daughter. We live in a big city. There are many other qualified orthodontists out there. Please go to someone else.

DO NOT COME HERE He's a terrible orthodontist and makes over adjustments on teeth and you'll be in braces for 5 years instead of the intended contract period for 2.

With Dr. Cannon I had the worst experience in my life. If you want to pay for being in constant pain, ruin and lose your teeth, than this is the doctor for you... You will get in time and wait from 1 hour to 2.5 hours just to see doctor for 2 to 5 minutes. He will smile and will look friendly. But unfortunately he doesn’t now what he’s doing. When you realize that, and will try to get a second opinion, you will be charged additional money for the x-rays you already paid to the ortholab out of your on pocket (I was charged $500). He never accepts second opinion no matter what. Joseph Cannon is unprofessional and unknowledgeable “doctor”. After Dr. Cannon’s “treatment” make an appointment to your dentist in advance, because you will need it. I feel sorry to any patients of Dr. Cannon and especially children. I had to leave Dr. Cannon and I never get any refund. Now I’m happy to have another doctor.
