Dr. Dembner is the bomb. After reading the negative reviews about his insurance contraacting, I am forced to say to those people, did you not read his paperwork? He only is able to provide the services he does because of his non-contracted status. If you want K-Mart medicine, go see someone else. Dr. Dembner provides the best care and is the only neurosurgeon at Hoag Hospital with the independence to treat you right.

dR. did not diclose that he did not contract with the Insurance Carriers and our family was put into a hugh financial burden. Also, he felt that he did not have a responsibiltiy to negitiate the bill or reduce the charges.

Vague and abrasive as to diagnoses he was more concerned with hearing himself speak then reviewing my records or asking questions...he had a diagnoses which turned out to be vague if not incorrect before review the history.not again

Truly an amazing doctor. Couldn't find a more qualified doctor (high credentials). Performed an operation on my spine and did an incredible job. Visited me everyday while in the hospital. Ask for him if ever in need of a neurosurgeon.

Amazing and confident surgeon that visited my daughter at least once each day during her two months in ICU. He couldn't be more dedicated and competent. You'd be lucky to have him as your surgeon.

He is really a caring doctor and explains everything thourghly. I don't think I have seen a doctor that is that hands on from the time you arrive to making your next appointment.
