Dr. Wills changed my life. The headaches I was having for 2 years drove me to picking up a gun coz I couldn’t stand the unbearable pain. I thank God I found him! After my surgery, I never had another headache of that kind. Shonna McFarlin

Dr. Wills may have expertise....his rudeness and arrogance overshadowed any medical training he may have...he was so full of himself...couldn't tell what he knows about his medical field. I went to another doctor in another state to get the help and the surgical care I needed. I can now walk again! No thanks to Dr. Wills and his "all about me" attitude. My suggestion: Find a doctor that cares about the patient...that isn't Dr. Wills.

In the short time that Dr Matthew Wills treated me for my back problem, I can honestly say that it was the best civilian care that I have had in a long time. His knowledge on my treatment and explanation on my surgery and post-op were superior. He is very thorough with post-op instructions on how to care for one's self during recovery. Every follow up visit he adds information on which step will take place next, which included for me my pain management, physical therapy and what to do and not to do prior to therapy. If you get his sense of humor than this is your doctor. I will definitely recommend Dr. Wills to anyone who needs a neuro-surgeon. Sincerely, Mrs. Thomasine "Theresa" Johnson

knows what he is doing when it comes to neurosurgery, but I guess he skipped the part about bedside manner in med school. Very rude, doesn't do next day follow up with patients, sends a partner. Not only is he rude to the patient, but also to the patients family. Unfortunately if you live in lubbock you have a very limited number of neurosurgeons, and they all have a practice together and moonlight between the 2 big hospitals here. Good luck if you ever need one here.
