Dr bowling is the most caring i have experienced. Other specialists take you as an idiot. My mother is 82. On our visits he could have put the appontment for another time to put an eyeblocking needle in her left eye to stop the bleeding.. but he stayed back after work hours to do this so as to save her money.

I am delighted to have had two cataract extractions recently under the highly professional care and skill of Dr Bowling. He has the gift of making one feel as though s/he is the most important person on the day - a not often experienced, but very reassuring when dealing with eye sight. Thank you to the very helpful and supportive staff at the practice and also at Shellharbour Private Hospital.

DR Bowling is the ultimate specialist. Exceptionally well trained and a leader in his field, he also has a soul and is deeply concerned about the welfare of each and every patient . Wollongong is lucky to have him .If I lived anywhere in NSW and had any eye problem he would be my first choice by a country mile.

We’ve been attending Dr Bowling’s rooms for a few years now and Dr Bowling is excellent, however the wait time is getting longer & longer (today it was 90 minutes wait time), and the front-desk staff are ambivalent about the situation.
