Saw your interview this evening on CBC. Thank you for your humanity! I am so grateful for the hard work you do.
I am a nurse and you inspire me. Take care of yourself and family. God bless you with his peace and love as you struggle to save lives. I also feel that we as senior humans have the right to
choose the right to die with dignity. My heart and love go out to you during this very stressful and struggling times. Thank you so much!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

I am not with your practice but I saw you on CBC and found you to be the most caring and compassionate professional I have heard from during COVID 19. I had to reply to the ratings in order to submit my rating. I cried during your entire interview because I realized that you expressed yourown vulnerability and that of your family but also the compassion you share with real life COVID 19 patients and their families. They are not just part of a daily number published by health care, they are real fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends etc. When you talked about the patient who said he lived a good life and wanted to go on his own terms, you triggered a memory for me. In the 1980โ€™s my grandfather, a WWll vet talked about smoking. We begged him to quit. He said, โ€œI have lived a good life and if I die tomorrow I will be a happy man and my family will still love meโ€! He was making a tongue in cheek reference as to how miserable he would be if he lived without smokes. Even without conditions to smoking he would make the same decision now, do not deny others for what I do not need. This thought has never left me even though he died 6 weeks before my wedding during which he was to give me away. His daughter Margaret, my mother is 88 years old in a closed down retirement residence. There are no cases there and I have visited with her with a white board through a closed window. If I never get to hug her again I am reassured she will be with care givers like you who will care for her like her own family. I wish you health and safety and thank you for all you do. ๐Ÿ™ Dianne

Saw Dr. Alam interviewed on TV today (April 9/20) and was very impressed with her compassion and caring for the patients she was treating with the COVID-19 virus. Georgetown and area are very lucky to have this doctor in their midst.

Yes, I just watched Dr. Alam's interview on CBC. Dr. Alam is a very caring, compassionate person and the Georgetown community is so very lucky to have her, not only as a family physician, but also as an anaesthetist and her dedicated work with the Ontario Medical Association. She cares deeply about her patients, and health care in general. I was very
saddened to hear that Georgetown Hospital could be in imminent need for masks, gowns. etc. Wish there was someway we could help. Thank you, Dr. Alam, and all your colleagues in Georgetown.

Amazing doc, truly cares about her patients and the healthcare system. She's out there on the front lines fighting COVID-19. At a time when we're staying home to be with our loved ones, she's putting herself at risk to fight this pandemic. And still seeing her regular patients virtually to keep them healthy. I admire her perseverence and drive to improve Ontario's healthcare. You're amazing Dr. Alam.

Terrible doctor and very narcissistic. Very focused on herself and her perception rather than my perspective.
