What can I say, he saved my life. I was losing weight, turning yellow and was generally in very poor health. Dr. Strahan initiated an MRI and within two days sent me via RFDS to the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane, three days later I was on my way home feeling as though there had been nothing wrong with me. All my vitals are excellent as I write this, many thanks for your help đź‘Ť

Dr Strahan’s receptionists are just as rude as himself. I was totally disgusted how they spoke to me as if I was a piece of junk on the footpath. I ended up telling them to jam their appointment and that I would find another specialist. After feeling down and upset I ended up speaking to some people who actually cared now I am going to a specialist who has proper full credentials and an excellent bedside manner. To those people (you know who you are) a BIG THANK YOU

Dr Strachan is very low on the radar when ur cones u
To Dr/Patient manners and communication. I am not going to writes long review as I would just be rewriting all that has been written before me. Believe me it’s all very true and I experienced it all. You see just because Martin Strachan has DR before his name doesn’t make him a god we should worship
nor does it make him skilled. All I can say is STAND UP FIR YOUR RIGHTS AS A PATIENT. If your not happy ask to see another doctor ( I am hospital inpatient)

Should NOT BE A DOCTOR. Has very poor communication skills, no compassion for patients and families. Wants you in the hospital ($$$), but then wants you out. The hospital staff know exactly what he is, but in order to keep their jobs they shrug their shoulders and just say "say no more".

This man should not be a doctor. he has no bedside manner at all. I am 70 and I felt like giving him a good clip around the ears the way he spoke to me. He is extremely rude, arrogant, abrupt, could not look me in the eye when he spoke to me, After I was bought in to hospital by ambulance, emergency doctors prescribed medication as the normally do. I was in hospital for over a week in extreme pain. Because he would not sign off on the dosages that emergency doctors had prescribed. I had to argue with him every day to up my dosage. But no every night I would be in extreme pain and even the nurses where sympathetic to me because they new Panadol was not going to relieve this type of pain. Stay away from this Doctor I hope he never has nerve pain to the extent that you wish to commit suicide. I truly think this man has problems, and should not practice medicine.

This arrogant and abrupt man stopped my charted migraine medication and wrote up for paracetamol only every 6 hours without any consultation with me. He said “these things go away after a couple of days hospital rest”. Conceited man - ask for a second opinion it’s your right to do so.

Due to high stress prescribed medication, alcohol my liver and other organs in my body were failing fast, Iwas on the verg if end of life, hanging on to the edge of a cliff, thanks to Dr Strahan after nearly 3 years of treatment and support he gave myself and my partner, my whole life has turned around for the better, still require 6 month scans, bloods etc but that's a very small price to pay for keeping me alive. Thankyou Dr Strahan

RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY. This is the most rude and arrogant person I've ever met. He's an awful doctor. Awkward sense of humor. I truly believe he's high functioning autistic.

My pop had a stroke and this "doctor" told him he would never walk again and my Nan had to hurry and put him in a home before their private health insurance ran out. We got him transferred to the PARAS unit at the base hospital, and within 6 weeks he walked home. That was over 2 years ago.
Doctor Strahan is not only rude and heartless, he is also a completely useless doctor. AVOID
