I'm deeply humbled with much honor and respect to meet Dr Mazarei for the first time! She is a GOD-SENT to me. Thank you Dr. Nashnani to refer me to one of the best/the very best OBGYN. She not only cares and she takes the time to explain in detailed manner very clearly both professional and personal aspect of my visit. Dr. Mazarei exceeds the standards of excellence! At our initial meeting, Dr. Mazarei introduced herself in such a genuine and gracious manner, assuring me that she was committed to doing what needed to be done to make me better. As it turned out, it was that dreaded hysterectomy. However, Dr. Mazarei’s professionalism and high success rate in performing laparoscopic hysterectomies (one of the newest and high-tech methods), limited any uncertainties and concerns I felt. So, on November 30, 2018, Dr. Mazarei effectively performed my surgery. I was virtually pain free, taking 600 mg a day of over-the-counter ibuprofen for the first week. I am truly blown away by the short recuperation time, approximately 1 to 2 weeks. Dr. Mazarei, I cannot thank you enough. “My entire experience was so much better than anything I could imagine.”

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Mazarei. She is the best hands down! Her medical knowledge is astonishing! She educated me on any matter that I present to her with confidence! Dr Mazarei performed my hysterectomy & did such a great job that I referred my stepdaughter to her for surgery as well! She’s a joy to have around in order to help us have healthier lives.

I am so happy with Dr. Mazarei -- just wish I had found her years ago instead of only in the past 5 months. She made me feel special and spoke with me one-on-one in her office of instead of the exam table. She explained in detail my problem and the various choices I had. When I opted for surgery she did minimally invasive surgery. What a blessing! She put my fears at ease and my recovery was like a vacation. I had to remind myself that I had surgery! Pain after surgery was little to NO pain. I took prescribed Tylenol for a couple of days out of fear of possible pain more so than actually feeling the pain. Her staff is like a family, they all seem to get along well and are very respectful and courtesy of patients. My overall experience was superb considering having to deal with woman wellness issues. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone going through the uncertainties of woman wellness and the options you have to take of the problem. If you have problems requiring surgery and your current physician suggests you are not a candidate for minimally invasive surgery, it may not be you who is not a candidate, your physician may not be up to date or able to perform minimally invasive surgery -- Dr. Mazarei most certainly can!

I was searching for a GYN who cares about me as a woman and who takes pride in their work and thank god I found Dr. Nahid Mazarei. Not only was she exactly what I was looking for Dr. Mazarei also was very thorough and personal, she made me feel like I was her only patient.
I had large fibroids about 3 and they needed to come out as they were causing me problems. Speaking with Dr. Mazarei she explained everything to me so clear that I understood what was happing and what needed to happen. She gave me the choice as to surgery or not, she was not quick to cut me she gave me the choice, I love that she talked to me in her office one on one I did not feel rushed she answered all of my question and made me feel comfortable about making my decision that was right for me. I ended up having to a partial hysterectomy along removing the large fibroids on March 17, 2017 and because Dr. Mazarei takes pride and is thorough she did a FANTASTIC job, I love her so much and let me not forget her office staff. WOW they all were very nice, professional and made me feel like we were long time friends. I especially love Ms. Davis she is Dr. Mazarei right hand, she always makes me feel great and she has good jokes too. I would love to vote for Dr. Nahid Mazarei as the very best OB/GYN in the state of Maryland and I'm glad she is my doctor,

I recommend Dr Nahid Mazarei to anyone ! She is a Dr . who loves , and cares for her patients ! Not only will she tell you , but she shows it her actions speaks for itself ! Her staff are the best ( well what do u expect look who they work for )! I have had two surgeries done by Dr .Mazarei one ectopic ,and the removal of my fibroids . I tell you the experience she and her staff gave me was more than what words could express ! The first surgery I was beyond scared once I had the chance to meet Dr. Mazarei it was something about her that was different ! I knew God placed me in the right hands ! She made me feel at ease and reassured me that everything will be okay . She wasn't lying when she told me she was "the best Dr ever " both surgeries was successful! I just had surgery 10/28/16 for the removal of my fibroid with only four incisions the most pain I felt was as if I've done sit ups for the first time ! I mean literally no harsh pain . I was mobile the next day and go on with my everyday life !! I didn't even get the narcotic filled only the ibruprofin , and I only took that for two days . my body is healing very exceptional !! Hands down she is the best Dr . she cares about her patients and will do whatever it takes to get them what they want as far as their health !! If u are looking to get anything done woman wise she is the Dr. U Don't have to get cut open to have fibroids removed not at all .. I am a true witness to that .. Thanks Dr Mazarei for everything

Dr. Mazarei came highly recommend from a close friend of mine, and I see why. She is a wonderful doctor with a fantastic bedside manner. I had been having difficulty with my menstruation for years and no one could explain why or how to address it. Dr. Mazarei was able to diagnose the problem, explain my condition so I could understand, and discuss my options and the pros and cons. She performed a minimally evasive hysterectomy. I was up and about in the next few days with minimal pain. I feel so much better. She walked me through the procedure step by step before and after the surgery. I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of good and knowledgeable GYN. She has changed my life for the better!

I love Dr. Mazerei!!!! She is the best OB/GYN that I've ever had! She takes her patients health very seriously and without delay, responds quickly to each and every health issue in an excellent timely fashion. She is very warm hearted and assures you that your personal concerns regarding your health is in her best interest. My pregnancy was in jeopardy and so was my health and Dr. Mazerei saved my daughter life as well as my own with her quick & sound decision. This is why she will always be my OB/GYN Doctor!!! I absolutely LOVE Dr. Mazerei. She is literally like family. My favorite Dr. Ever. She made things so easy and comfortable. She has the best spirit and she genuinely cares about her patients. You can be extremely honest with her about absolutely anything. She will always tell you the truth and guide you the best way possible. I highly highly recommend going to her if you have younger children. I am only 19 and has been to her about twice. When I had my first check up, everything was perfect and I was so comfortable letting her do the examination. I truly appreciate her.

During my office visits with Dr. Mazarei, she helped me to understand my medical condition and what medical options where available to me. She spent time to talk with me even when I did not have a regularly scheduled appointment on the books. Dr. Mazarei is a very lovely and caring person and extremely knowledgably in the Obstetrics & Gynecology field. The staff is wonderful. I felt welcomed from the time I enter the office.
It took me about a year to decide to have the hysterectomy procedure performed. While I experienced no pain from the fibroid growth, I could physically see how they were continuing to enlarge over time (ten years). I prayed to God a lot over my medical situation and asked Him to completely heal my body. I have a very high level of faith. My belief in God is infectious and I have experienced many times first-hand His healing power upon my life. God’s spiritual gift -- His healing power is so evident in my life. For me, my prayer request to God was for Him to heal my medical condition which I knew would not be an issue for Him.
On December 5th during a pre-op appointment my pathology report showed I had some small polyp growths within my uterus area (they were benign). Since I have a family history of uterine cancer Dr. Mazarei recommended I have the hysterectomy performed. Quite frankly, I was taken aback by this medical report because just the day before on December 4, 2014, God spoke to me and said that He was going to heal my body because of my faith in Him. When I shared this information with Dr. Mazarei, she asked me if I thought it was possible that God wanted for my healing to take place through her performing the surgical procedure. God then brought back to my recollection of the full message He spoke to me that night which was – He was going to completely heal my body and added Dr. Mazarei name at the end of the message. I had to confess and repent to God that as much as I wanted for my healing to take place completely through and by His power alone. Acts chapter 5 verse 29 says I ought to obey God rather than men which for me literally means I should not lean to my own way of thinking, wants and desires but trust God totally and completely in what He said He would do for me.
On the day of my surgery Dr. Mazarei took time to have prayer with me which is something that she recognize is a part of my lifestyle. I’m very thankful to God and grateful to my doctor for asking me if I wanted to have prayer with her before the surgical procedure. Prayer is a powerful thing when you believe in the healing power of God. I’m told by husband my doctor said the surgical procedure went “perfect”, there was very little blood lost and she now believes there is a God.
My surgical pathology report showed I had over two dozen fibroids ranging from 0.8 up to 5 cm removed from my uterus wall with very little blood lost during the surgical procedure. I also had paratubal cysts and follicular cyst removed from my fallopian tubes and ovaries.
I’m now within 6 weeks of post-opt recovery and I am glad that I had the hysterectomy performed. I only needed a total of three ibuprofen pills to help with the soreness in my abdomen since the day of my surgery.
