Dr. CHambers delivered both of my children. Her personality was a match for me. She was wonderful and did an amazing job after the baby's were born. If you know what I am talking about. I would not go to anyone else. I search for a great doctor. I didn't take it lightly who I chose. The low stars are only emotional remarks. AS you read you will understand. Not a match for them. Regardless of their comments, she is a excellent doctor. 5 Stars. (I also recommend her for both of my cousins and my best friend.

I found a new OBGYN because of her! She was horrible.. The first time I seen her she begged to be my doctor so then went a few months later with my husband telling her we are going to try for a baby she told me she will not treat me or help cause I'm overweight and wasn't nice about it. Will never go to her wish I could turn her into the medical board.

I also felt like she was so rushed. She would talk so fast and would be out the door before I could ask my questions. I felt like she didn't really care about my pregnancy. It was my first pregnancy and so I had a lot of questions. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I Love, love, love Dr. Chambers. she has delivered both my girls and I wouldn't have asked for a better Doctor. the things that I ever had problems with was the Hospital staff when delivering both my kids. I delivered at Salt lake regional and St Marks, I would not recommend either hospital. The Hospital staff were my issues. I love Dr. Chambers and I would recommend her to anyone. I have been going to her for 8 years and I plan on her delivering all of my children. She is very helpful, very kind, she is very patient with me, and she is a wonderful Doctor. any one who has said otherwise, doesn't know the May Chambers I know. I have been very happy with her being my Doctor from the beginning and I plan on her being my Doctor till the end.

Worst DR. in the world! I went to Dr. Chambers for my first baby, and she was always late, and I never felt like she really cared about me or my baby.the WORST was when I went into labor The nurses called her, and she said to have me wait, well a two hours later I was at a 10 all ready, but my water didn't break, so when the nurses called her again, she said to have me wait till it broke on it's own, well FIVE hours later it still didn't break so the nurse broke it so Dr. Chambers would come. When she got there I pushed a couple times and he was out, then she left! My son's whole face, nose, head, chin, were crooked, because he was ready to come out for 5 hours, all the nurses were so mad, that he had to go through that, they said it was BAD, it took months for his face to get back to how it should be, I HATE HER! I went to a new DR. for my 6 week check up.

I saw May for my first baby and was not impressed from the beginning. I decided to stick it out through the pregnancy but wish I would have switched. She was always in and out of our appointments that I wasn't even sure what had happened. She never offered any information, and when I tried to stop her long enough to ask questions she only got through about 2 before she was out the door. She also was not very honest about the birthing process and what she would be doing during the delivery. Another factor was that I was concerned about having a large baby. My husbands family are up to 6'8 (mostly on the taller end) and my family has a history of large babies. She never checked, told me the baby would be 8 pounds max. My baby was 9-1/2 pounds (I'm only 5'4 and small). I was 1-1/2 weeks late before inducing.

If you want a NATURAL birth or quality care--look somewhere else. May railroaded us into an induction because she thought the baby would be "too big" at eight pounds (yes, that's the weight she thought he'd be.) Keep in mind that I am 6 feet tall and my mother and sister have had babies over 10 lbs with no complications. She was rough when she broke my water and did cervical checks--it didn't hurt when the nurses checked, just when May did. She wouldn't allow me out of bed, but kept me flat on my back. I ended up with an epidural and forceps delivery with a huge episiotomy. She handed the baby off right away and I didn't get to see him for another 1/2 hour even though there was nothing wrong with him. Turns out that May was going out of town in the morning... I wish I could tell you about my cousin's experience with May--that would seal the case.

I have always enjoyed seeing Dr. Chambers. For both of my kids, she was not the doctor on call, but she came in anyway and delivered both my kids, and I didn't have any medical conditions warranting her need to be there. The office staff could use some ethics, empathy and professional lessons and Dr. Chambers appointments are usually behind, so plan accordingly. It is her personality to be fast, but you have all the opportunity in the world to ask her questions and slow her down. She is very knowledgeable and I have never had a bad experience seeing her in the past 12 years.

My first appt with Dr. Chambers was also the day I found out my baby had been dead for a month without my body having any noticeable symptoms... made for a hard first meeting but she was wonderful. With my son 2 years later, I found that she is very quick and upbeat.. at first it threw me off because I thought doctors should lecture you every appt. The old office she was in WAS annoying. She has delivered 4 of my children (I developed toxemia with all of them) and I love that I can go in for an appt, get it over with, and get out without listening to a lecture on what I already know. I would not recommend her for a first time mother but for those of us who are old hands at this, she is great! Because of scheduling I am seeing a former colleague of hers for my current pregnancy who is rated high on this site and she drives me nuts.. talks forever and thinks I don't have toxemia but according to every website I have seen and my past experience I do!
