Dr Krantz is a great doctor, he will be missed. I want to also say that the way this clinic is run is terrible. The ladies that work as nurses or secretaries are arrogant and rude. They are given too much power and it starts with the office manager. Please rethink your staff in this clinic.

Dr. Krantz has been my GP for years. I adore him as he has a great bedside manner, he’s engaging, he genuinely cares about me. We will discuss what is going on and how is the best way to treat it. If he is unsure of something he listens if I know more. I’m not the average patient as I do research when diagnosed and help him out so he learns and can help others. He doesn’t push prescription drugs we try and find a natural alternative. Someone commented and said that it could be anywhere from 6-8 weeks to see him I have never had to wait that long, a month maybe as they book that in advance and the staff at the clinic is amazing. And since he is a great doctor and we unfortunately had a clinic shut down all the doctors had to take on more patients so there is sometimes going to be a wait time for him and others. Please remember that he is a family man as well and he goes back to his beginnings once in awhile to visit just like we all do. I laugh so does my bf as we say the day I move away from here we will drive an hour every month just to keep Dr. Krantz as my doctor. I don’t know what I would do without him. I could go on forever but I won’t.

Dr. Krantz is an extremely gifted doctor. His bedside manner is above approach. He uses all resources (specialists, testing facilities, etc.) available to get to an answer. His downfall, while not personal, significantly reduces his effectiveness. Firstly, many of the staff and most of the systems are archaic and frought with errors and mis-communications. Secondly, the facilities (offices) are too small and poorly supported. Thirdly, his availability to patients with serious chronic ailments is TERRIBLE. Even when he s in town, I have often been given appointments 6 to 10 weeks hence. Even my specialists say that I need to have access to him within days not weeks. THIS MUST CHANGE!

The best doctor I’ve ever had. Always sweet and friendly and genuinely cares. Very knowledgeable and never brushes off your symptoms or concerns. He’s the best doctor in town.

This doctor is truly a blessing! Not only does he care, but he has a way to relate to his patients. He is willing to listen to concerns and supports a patients decision on how to proceed. Even when things got life threatening, he is the one I will rely on, even over specialists. I have never seen a doctor as good as him and he deserves high honour and praises, thank you!

Over the past few years, I have been treated in multiple cities/provinces and at least two countries. Dr. Krantz is one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with. He is dedicated and compassionate. He has gone above and beyond on every occasion during our years together, educating himself when the area was not his speciality and bring in consult specialists when he couldn’t find resolution. In my case, his care and intervention did save my life. I no longer live in Barrhead but continue to see Dr. Krantz to maintain continuity of care. I do agree with similar reviews that the front desk staff and scheduling process are problematic in general and unacceptable for those with chronic diagnosis who require regularily scheduled monitoring/appointments.
