Dr. Harrison did a right knee replacement and a left hip replacement for me. The anterior entry he did for my left hip allowed me to have the same work done that cutting through the major muscles of the buttocks would do, but allowed for much quicker recovery than the "old" procedures. He was VERY thorough as he explained how the pre-surgery, surgery and post-op expectations were and answered all my questions. I had TOTAL confidence in his ability to take care of the problem and that I would feel much better once I was on the other side of rehab.. He is personable, has a good sense of humor and makes you feel like you are the only person he is seeing the day of your appointments. We are losing Dr. Harrison as he goes from Payson to Kearney, Nebraska...lucky community! He also did a shoulder reconstruction for my wife who has MS. The shoulder was severely damaged and the tendons were retracting. He gave the surgery a 50-50 chance of success. The procedure was 100% successful and she can now lift her arm over her head at 6 weeks post-op. WHAT AN AMAZING SURGEON AND INDIVIDUAL!! We wish him well.

The most amazing ortho Dr. in Arizona. I do not care is you live in Phoenix he is worth the drive to Payson to see. He did two total knee replacements for me in an 8 week span. It was explained to me down to how many weeks I would not feel like it was worth it to the week I would feel like everything he did was a gift. My life will be forever changed, because of Dr. Harrison. The meds he uses in combination with each other are amazing. He never stops going to conferences to learn how he can better things for his practice and patients. I am only 45 years old and had no knees left, Dr Harrison is so precise in his work that he tried everything he could to avoid knee replacement because I am so young and the younger a person is the harder the recovery. It sounds like an oxymoron but it is not. Look at the research. This guy visited me everyday I was in the hospital and made sure the staff were doing everything to keep me comfortable and as relaxed as I could be. He can cut on me any day!
