Dr. Sanford has been my chosen gynocologist since 2008. She has completely two surgeries on me since 2008, with August 2012 being my last surgery. Not only has Dr. Sanford been thoroughly informative of my options but she has been so compassionate to make sure I was comfortable before, during, and after my surgeries. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has gynocological issues, or for normal gynocological visits as well. I don't trust anyone but Dr. Sanford to operate on me!

I transferred into this office at 32 weeks, because I had just moved from Australia. They only had room for the midwives to see me, which was fine with me. I did have a history of high blood pressure. When I was 36 weeks they informed me that I was supposed to see the dr because of my blood pressure, but Dr. Sanford was on leave, so they sent me to see her replacement, whom said that I needed to be induced at 38 weeks because of low fluid and my bp. I went back and the midwife refused....she acted like she knew better then the dr. I was so frustrated. The next week I went in and saw a new midvife whom I told I had low amniotic fluid to...it wasn't documented in my chart. Needless to say I had almost no fluid and was induced that day. If I hadn't told anyone the first midwife would have simply blown it off...I was not impressed by these midwives...only one of them do I actually like.

When I was pregnant I had severe nausea and vomitting I never once saw a doc in this office. NEVER ONCE. I lost a total of 25 pounds during my pregnancy and the midwives would not listen or be helpful in any way. After 30 weeks of dealing with the stress of not having any help I quit using this office. One midwife left a mesage on my voice mail stating that if i didnt deal with the fact that i am not forcing myself to eat and that i have diabetes my baby will die. Who leaves that kind of message on someones voice mail? I would never recommend this doc or her midwifes if you are even close to not matching their book.

Dr. Sanford made an error in a vaginal hysterectomy. After not diagnosing the error for 4 days she finally had a cat scan done and referred me to a colo-rectal specialist who repaired the error. I spent 4 weeks in ICU and a couple of months after that recovering from what was supposed to be an overnite stay for a simple procedure.
