Dr Andy Koo during my appointment treated me rudly because I told him that I do not need colonoscopy for simple reason that all my symptoms show that the reason for irritation of my thin layer in rectum do not caused by Cron's disease, UC, Coorectal cancer etc but by proctitis in mild form. This diagnose was given to me by my regular gastrologist dr. Margulis who prescribe me mesalamine, but it did not work as expected. So for this reason I ask him to prescribe me some antibiotic, because my stool has pus.
Dr. Koo was very upset that I tried to tell him what to do. "You are not a doctor to give me advice and you waste my time,. If you are not happy with me I can give you another doctor. I want you to live my office." - he told me.
In my opinion doctor must be more polite with his patient.

Mr. Koo (who doesn't even deserve to be called a dr.) was the most rude and most arrogant human being I have ever met in my entire life. We asked if he spoke Korean since we were more comfortable with the language. He flat out says no, it's kindergartener level, and then went off and start talking not considering if we understood him or not. His behavior certainly was like a kindergartener. When we try to explain things, he cut us off and told us that he didn't want to get into the weeds of things. Really? That's what you tell patients who want to understand their issues. A H O L is the only word that came to my mind. As a Korean, a person who even has a Korean name like Mr. Koo. He should not be so proud that he can't speak Korean or be arrogant about it. We will certainly not go back to this A H O L and will be looking for a "real" doctor.

Truly one of the rudest doctors I have ever met. Just wanted to rush us in and get us out. I came with paperwork that needed to be filled by doctor, however he told me “you need to get with the times everything’s online”, however it’s something I needed written down by him. Would not recommend unless you want sarcastic or rude DRs.

After years of no progress with my condition, I was referred to Dr. Koo and immediately felt "Finally, a doctor who wants to make changes in my meds to help my overall health. " Very knowledgeable and he saw what I and my previous doctor were doing for 15 years was not working. I started a new treatment and felt 100% better immediately. I am very greatful, he has given me my life back!

If you are thin skinned, that does not make him a bad doctor. I have absolutely no problem with Dr Koo. I never feel rushed, he takes the time to spell out where we are at, where we need to get to and what his plan of action will be. Tells me the what and why’s every time.
