I consulted Patrick Trend about an issue last year. I had tests and he fed back half of the information choosing to ignore the information which dd not fit his theory, I have since asked for the results of the tests and realised that I have probably spent the last nine months in pain because I wasn't given the right information from this consultant inspite of asking for clarification.

Dr Trend has been treating me for chronic migraines for nearly ten years. He is always friendly, puts you at ease and explains things clearly. I couldn’t rate him more highly or recommend him more! Genuine care for his patients and their well being.

Dr Trend has treated me and a close relative for years in both private and NHS settings and has been consistently wonderful throughout. I really can’t rate him highly enough - we have been challenging cases and he has done absolutely everything he can to help, calling in specialist clinicians when necessary but always overseeing progress himself and responding quickly, calmly and with good humour to any queries we might have. He is supported by an amazing admin team.

I have been under Dr Trends care for years, and have always felt both listened to and looked after. He explains everything well in a kind manner and has been excellent organising any tests in a timely fashion over the years. He has been excellent at co-ordinating care along side my other doctors to make sure I get the best possible treatment, even as a complicated patient. I am also grateful to him for overseeing my care so well during an entended hospital stay and making me feel reassured despite the difficult circumstances.

Takes ages to get an appointment. I think all his private non NHS patients get priority. No real patient focus. If I never see this Dr again in my life I will be more than happy. Didn't add any value at all or explain anything at all or give any reassurance. Comes across as slightly pompous. Waste of time.

Came out to meet me himself. Very brisk and to the point. However, he did listen to my concerns and carried out a number of tests. Due to my anxiety I was referred very quickly for further tests under the NHS within a week! He gives you a lot of information and is very helpful. I would highly recommend! An acquired taste but very very knowledgeable !
