I've been to many dentists and their work is always a judgment call. My judgment of Dr. Mayo is "very good". He doesn’t push work that is not necessary and performs his dentistry in a very competent manner.

I went in for a check up and teeth cleaning. After Dr. Mayo discovered I needed a root canal he refuse to clean my teeth. I bought the gold plan that allows me two teeth cleanings for the year before hand. The cashier and the front desk all claimed I only came in for a tooth ache. I always thought the customer was right, I can't believe I was arguing with these people over trying to get my teeth cleaned. The staff all made me feel like I was wasting everybody's time. Until I have the root canal he will not clean my teeth. I paid 153 dollars for nothing.
