Chrisstian Mamczak, MD (trauma surgeon) was who I moved my 24 y/o son after surgery elsewhere. As an RN, I could tell something was not right. The other surgeon installed the fixator into his leg incorrectly after he broke both bones, and damaged ankle bones. Dr. Mamczak had to fix the botched job. He swabbed the insertion site and just before the his second surgery the swab test came back positive for MRSA. The first surgery at the other hospital gave my son MRSA, because this was a closed fracture to begin with (intact skin).

If not for Dr. Mamzcaks routine swab my son could very well be crippled for life, if not dead from MRSA (undetected). I highly recommend him. He is kind, knowledgeable, and caring.
