After being failed by the public mental health services and alienated I refused to see psychiatrists for over a decade. In recent years I was referred to a very helpful psychologist who helped me overcome my adversity to psychiatric treatment and he highly recommended Dr. Alan Murtagh's services for an ADHD assessment. I am very grateful for all of the help! I would highly recommend his services! He listens and conducts thorough assessments with a non-bias perspective. The treatment has been very beneficial.

Kindness and approach second to none. My daughter very at ease with him and that is a big statement. Communication is just so amazing. Every question answered within a day. Dr Murtagh is in this for helping others, I have never come across such a lovely man who is determined to help my daughter. Taking medication one small step at a time, close monitering and communcation. I cannott recommend Dr. Murtagh highly enough. We are extremely lucky to have been pointed in his direction!!

Nothing but praise for Dr Murtagh and his staff. The staff are friendly, approachable and really helpful. Dr Murtagh himself is a great listener, super empathetic and his knowledge of the field is evident. He completely demystifyed things and reassured me throughout a process I was worried about.

Competent, patient and calming demeanour. Overall a good psychiatrist who has been instrumental in helping me adjust to being diagnosed with ADHD. My only “complaint” (more of an observation) is entirely subjective...whilst he is knowledgeable and well versed in his field, some things have to be experienced rather than taught in order to yield empathy. I initially found it hard to build a rapport with him.
Easy to negotiate with as regards medications.
